Before subscribing to Synder it would take me days at the end of every month to reconcile my bank account transactions for our small business. I love the fact that Synder saves me hours of transaction reconciliation time across all my payment platforms. It highlights the unsuccessful syncs which helps when resolving transaction issues and adjustments. I have not used the new Smart Rules feature yet and look forward to seeing what this can do to make the month end even easier.
Basic $65 plan has many essential features like full tax code mapping behind paywalls (ie you have to pay an extra $29 per month for rules to enable this feature.
Why? Tax code mapping is 100% free on Quickbooks Shopify Connector (also 100% free)
And they seem to worship the whole syncs quota concept - God forbid you screw up and end up duplicating syncs - they wont credit back the erroneous syncs to your 500 monthly sync quota on the basic $65 plan.
What was their response? Pay $129 for the next plan up and you get the feature to block duplicates from the outset.
So overall a good multi currency app but awful customer service and an even worse subscription tier structure that has essential features paywalled on higher tiers.
Ie to get all the basics you're looking at $150+ per month.

The Basic plan is designed for simpler workflows where transactions are recorded as received, while more customizable setups require additional processing and controls for accurate results. That’s why features such as Smart Rules and duplicate prevention are available on the Essential plan and higher. After reviewing your case, we found that 44 Shopify transactions that had already been recorded in QuickBooks were synced again, creating duplicate entries and using part of your sync balance . If transactions need to be synced again after a setting or rule change, they should first be rolled back to avoid duplicates. Our team is also looking into the issue you reported with disabling the Smart Rule and will continue working with you to get everything set up correctly. Synder has saved me a huge amount of time on entering invoices and sales. Syncing all my transactions is simple, and I love the new reconciliation feature.
What really sets Synder apart is the support. They respond quickly, and they reach out on their own when they notice an issue, which is rare. Highly recommend.
Synder has helped me so much. I have it installed on my Shopify for 2 different ecommerce businesses. It syncs so nicely with my Quickbooks online and makes my end of the month bookwork so easy. It categorizes all elements of every sale correclty, so I don't have to second guess it. I honestly don't know what I would do without it.
I've been using Synder for about a year and it's been great! Synder was very helpful with implementation with my bookkeeping team, and they're always very friendly when questions come up. I don't spend much time inside of the platform myself – that's what I pay the bookkeeper for! – but when I do need to use it, the platform is intuitive and has every feature I could possibly think of.
This is the only platform that integrates with EVERY sales channel I needed (Faire, Shopify, TikTok, and Etsy) and I'm very grateful for this app and the easy and detailed reports it allows for!
This saves a lot of time and helps us track inventory and sales by integration with QuickBooks. Snyder software can also be used to import orders from eBay, Etsy, Amazon, and for an extra fee, Walmart.com. I used to use Webgility, but switched for this more affordable option for our small business doing 1000 or less orders per month. I would recommend it.
We have Quickbooks Desktop for Canada and Synder works perfectly between Shopify and Quickbooks. Many hours saved with the sync of transactions, and the easily mapping of our products from Shopify to Quickbooks Desktop. Our accountant is really enjoying it!
I was looking for an app which can help me record all my transactions from Shopify and Stripe to Xero and I decided to try Synder. Synder provided great ease of book keeping syncing both my Shopify and Stripe into Xero seamlessly. Bit of set up is needed although it is easy enough to figure out on my own without needing to contact support.
George from support was able to clarify all my questions and help me configure correctly the connection between shopify, stripe and quickbooks.
This kind of accounting setup is not usually easy but here the support made all the difference. I recommend strongly.
Synder has reduced the administration of our accounts significantly. We integrate 2 Shopify stores with Xero, and we have added a number of custom developments as well. The Synder team have been excellent in assisting with this, particularly Hendrick who has guided us though each stage with clear communication on timelines and what can be achieved.
