The Courier Guy Locker

Why does this app keep changing settings.
1. I remove it from international shipping and same day it is back where I removed it.
2. Customers select a locker but it all ends up being Rivonia.
3. Even my collection locker is stuck on Rivonia.
4. Then it works and then it is gone so customers does not have the option so I loose sales.

This app used to work but now it just causes frustration, totally useless.

One star is being generous for all the frustration it causes.

The app is a little difficult to set up and configure initially, but once I got everything configured correctly, it worked really well.

The customer selects the Locker shipping option during checkout and completes payment. On the next page, they are prompted to enter their locker details. The Courier Guy sends an OTP via email, and after entering the OTP, the customer can select their preferred destination locker. The selected locker information is then automatically added as a note to the Shopify order.

To create the shipment, you open the order in Shopify, click “More Actions” and select “TCG Locker Create Shipment”. The destination locker is automatically populated using the locker the customer selected. You then choose the locker size and continue. The locker booking is created and the tracking number is automatically added to the Shopify order.

Once the shipment has been created, you can also print the waybill and labels directly from the “More Actions” menu.

The initial setup could definitely be easier and better documented, but once configured correctly, the whole process works really well and makes Locker shipping quite seamless.

Really outdated and no support, tried to email support@pudo.co.za with no response from any of their technical team, and the app keeps bugging out with each update Shopify does and you then risk out on losing sales, so this is rather disappointing us none of my customers can use the PUDO Locker functionality to choose their own preferred locker.

Please update the app and update the guide as most of it is already outdated and no longer supported within Shopify.

The settings keep going out and losing out on sales because the integration with the store is not working properly. I have to reach out to customers to confirm locker locations and have to set up API key over and over. I'm not sure if it was an update, but its not working right. Also i dont think the guide for integration is updated.

It's not a sleek app integration with lots of time consuming manual work to make it work. Made a mistake with a booking? Send an email - you can't cancel or change the booking yourself before the courier comes (unlike BobGo). App not working? Send an email to some hard to find email address that bounces and then complain on Facebook until someone responds and helps.

Completely broken since the current upgrade.

Shopify should insist that so developers thoroughly test apps all the time and especially when they upgrade their systems.

The website and app are amateur looking and lack proper content to assist in installing the app. They do not have live support you need to email integrations@pudo.co.za for support but do not hold your breath. Also do not ask more than one question per email they will only answer the first question!

Extremely user unfriendly. Nowhere is information on how to actually get The Courier Guy to show up on Shopify after installing it (on the basic plan).
