We translated our entire webshop via Transcy (800 products) from Dutch to French. But now it appears that custum fields can't be translated by the app... so we're stuck because we use a lot of custom fields... We also get to see in a lot of places... so we have to take this out everywhere... e.g. in the search bar, check out screen, ... Really not recommended!

First, I got your concern about the custom fields translation. At the moment, we offer a feature called Third-party Elements to translate the texts which are created from other apps or custom code.

This app is amazing and does what they say it does very effciently.There was some issues with the translation when using the app but their help on sorting it out and looking for the best solution to keep us happy was pretty much appreciated. I downloaded the app in order to facilitate our translation process. I am still in the trial phase and though I faced a slight glitch I was really surprised and happy by the great customer service and rapidity. This is really important especially when dealing with apps and companies you do not contract with face to face. I am confident to recommend and use them in the future.

We have customers from Japan and France, which is why we hope to translate at least some of the important functional pages into Japanese and French for them. Transcy helped us with it and surpassed our expectations - it translated EVERYTHING flawlessly. The language switcher is highly customizable. The support team is helpful, and replies super fast. The translation is decent enough in the free version, so I wouldn't mind paying the monthly fee and doing some fixes manually as my store grows. Tech Support is excellent. I had a small issue setting it up and it discouraged me from using it, but tech support appeared on the chat, fixed the issue on the fly and everything was up and running in minutes. Really good for a free plan.

To be honest I'm not reviewing the app but support from Shen. Her support was excellent and she really put a lot of time into setting it up for me. I'm not revieweing the app yet because I haven't really had anytime to test it. I would have given Shen 5 stars for her work but I do not like being pushed to write reviews. That's one star she's not getting but her support was really great.

I am keen to grow my business globally and I am currently using the free plan as a testing period , A number of customers view my website from France and so therefore I am hoping I will convert more of those customers by optimising the language and currency. App non male. Le traduzioni son comunque da controllare perche a volte son sbagliate, ma sono una buona base di partenza. Abbastanza veloce ed intuitivo. Assistenza mi ha aiutato velocemente quando ho avuto bisogno.
Molte funzionalità sono a pagamento extra, o ti chiedono di aderire a piano piu costoso. Alla lunga forse un po caro. Bo e Cris dell'assistenza sono stati gentili e efficienti!

I would recommend this app for an all you need translation apps. As a website builder whats important for me is how easy it is to be able to translate on a page level, replace images, SEO TRANSLATIONS and have it in proper subfolders. The support on Transcy is quick and they do solve your issues. For me i had some trouble with my theme displaying the switcher, they took care of this completely.
