GoodAPI: Donations and Trees

Excellent app to commit in reforestation projects!
We have chosen this app for different reasons. The partnership it has with Eden Reforestation Projects is one of the reasons being Eden one of the most serious organisations working in reforestation. The other reason is the possibility it gives to adapt the "tree planting" solution to your business. We had different requests of customization and Saif and the whole team have been just great in listening to our needs, implementing the changes quickly and so perfectly customize the app to our specific needs. We have been using GoodAPI for a while now as it fully aligns with our environmental and social responsibility values as a coffee company. Good API has allowed us to plant trees as well as remove plastic bottles from the environment making sure we do our small part in making a change.
The team has been super helpful in getting everything adjusted to our needs and provide a full transparency to our customers what we are doing as well as allowing them to participate in our mission.
The widget is easy to install and implement and feedback we are getting from our customers is great. And we have not seen any impact on loading speeds on our site so that is an extra bonus.

The app couldn't have been easier to set up, it took about 2 minutes.

And almost immediately I received a message from their support offering to set up all of the badges on my site for free. I took them up on that offer and the response was immediate. They worked with me to get everything just as I wanted it with several adjustments, AND made me a dedicated impact page for my site that I didn't even know that I needed, but that looks great and will definitely help with communicating to our customers the impact that they're making when shopping with us!

We recommend this app to absolutely every business.

Great concept, but not GDPR compliant.

As an EU merchant I discovered there was no Data Processing Agreement or sub-processor list in place, and hasn't been for 4 years.

Until proper GDPR compliance is implemented, this app is risky for EU merchants handling customer data.

It has been a wonderful experience working with GoodAPI, they provide easy integration and live support. We are dedicated towards sustainable and eco-friendly clothing that has less impact on this world and joining hands with GoodAPI feels so impactful.

Amazing initiative and so easy to set up and contribute directly to a better planet. Big compliments to the team for transparency and also supporting us with some custom layout and styling. Highly recommended! Now onwards to our goal of planting 1000 trees as our first milestone!

I chose Sprout because it aligns with the same values I hold in my own work—transparency, intention, and real-world impact. As someone who’s committed to creating responsibly and minimizing harm, I wanted a way to extend that commitment beyond the studio. Sprout makes it possible to give back in a way that feels honest, not performative. Their partnerships with reforestation projects that support local communities and their straightforward approach to tracking impact all reflect an integrity that’s hard to find. Saif was also phenomenal with the quality of support that he gives his clients.

App was easy and straightforward to use. Customer service was very helpful and fast to reply. Pricing per tree is slightly better than similar apps and services.

We ended up settling for another tree planting service for the moment (for reasons entirely unrelated to Goodapi Sprout), but if we were to remove ocean plastics in the future, I'd 100% go with Sprout.

This has been a great experience from the beginning. GoodAPI is a great way to enhance green credentials and contribute to the sustainability of your brand and is backed by stellar customer service from the GoodAPI team. They could not have been more helpful with setup and integration on our website. Thoroughly recommended.
