honestly i check trueprofit more than my emails now lol. i run a few different dtc brands and used to have my cogs spread across a bunch of spreadsheets, which was a nightmare when i was trying to work out what i was actually making on bundles vs single units
the cogs setup is what made me stay tbh. i can just put in the real supplier cost for a bundle instead of dividing it out per unit myself, which saves heaps of time, especially when i’m testing bundle prices and the per unit cost keeps changing a bit with volume discounts
two other things have changed how i run my stores. ad spend from facebook and google pulls in automatically next to the orders, so no more exporting ad reports and checking them against shopify payouts. i can tell the same day if a campaign is actually making money instead of guessing off roas. and the daily profit summary that hits my phone every morning sounds like a small thing but it means i catch a bad day straight away instead of finding out at the end of the month
overall really happy with it, would recommend to anyone running a dropshipping or ecom store who wants to know what they’re actually making

I use trueprofit daily to see my accurate net profit, its a lot easier than using a manual spreadsheet.
i really like the updated cogs feature, its super easy to setup accurate costs even with different worldwide shipping prices.
haven't really had any issues with trueprofit and i recommend it to other store owners.

I’ve had a great experience with TrueProfit, especially when it comes to tracking profit and keeping my costs accurate. The shipping cost tracking is very helpful for getting a more accurate view of my actual profit.

Bad Experience. Installed twice, the first time they charged me after the trial period eventhought I unninstalled the app the first day of this period. And when I reinstalled the app my variants were all outdated and there was no way to refresh the sync without contacting support. If you need something to make your life easier, this is not it. Also, it doesn't track VAT collection which is useless for EU businesses.

Quick summary:Your full refund has been processed. Variant sync may take time after reinstall, and Shopify VAT is excluded from Net Profit.
Regarding billing: Shopify manages all app subscription charges. Once a new billing cycle has started, uninstalling an app does not automatically cancel the charge for that billing period. As app subscription billing is managed by Shopify, we're unable to modify these charges.
That said, as soon as you contacted us on June 26, 2026, we immediately approved a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. As we weren't able to finalize the refund at that time, we later followed up and have now successfully processed it.
Regarding variant synchronization: We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. After reinstalling the app, there may be a short delay while the app completes the initial synchronization of your store data. Should any syncing issues occur, our support team is always available to assist as quickly as possible.
Regarding VAT: Based on our email conversation, if you're referring to the VAT collected through Shopify, this information is automatically synced from your Shopify orders and excluded from the Net Profit calculation, as it isn't considered business revenue. If you're referring to a different VAT scenario, we'd be happy to investigate further.
We also reached out by email to better understand your VAT concern but weren't able to gather additional details.
