This app worked quite well for us for several months. However, it suddenly started to really bog down our website causing add to cart buttons to load very slowly - sometimes taking over 2 minutes for the add to cart button to appear on product pages. On some of our product pages, the add to cart button would not appear at all. After updating our theme, deleting unused apps, and other general cleanup, I eventually decided to uninstall this app. Once I did - the problems resolved immediately.

I really wanted this to work for us as the shared inventory function DID work beautifully. However, its hardly worth it when we're losing sales because potential customers cannot add items to their carts.

Thank you for your honest feedback regarding the VSI app. We sincerely apologize for the performance issues you experienced with your "add to cart" buttons and the impact this had on your store.

We have just sent you an email to discuss this further, as we are eager to resolve these technical issues on priority and are fully willing to make the app work for you. We hope to have the chance to make this right.

Best regards,

Did not work as advertised. It still allowed people to purchase beyond what the allowed inventory that I set. I checked the “Items Total Quantity” after my product launch and it shows negative stock for multiple items (-2, -1, -3, which means it did not control inventory and allowed purchases beyond stock available).

Extremely frustrated and do not recommend this app.

Hi MargayB,

Thank you for your feedback. While we take every review as a constructive opportunity to improve, it is a bit disheartening to see this rating shortly after we were granted collaborator access, as we were eager to resolve this for you. We did send out a couple of follow-up emails as well, but received no response from you.

We would have truly appreciated the chance to investigate the inventory settings on your store before the app was uninstalled. However, we are still very much willing to make things work for you. Please feel free to reply to your original support ticket or reach out via email or WhatsApp so we can sort this out together.

Best regards,
Addify Support Team

Worked for all of 2 days and then unsynced and never worked again. Because I had spent 40+ hours syncing thousands of products and variants, I didn't take the time to redo everything. The product is exactly what I was looking for but sadly doesn't work for us...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your honest feedback – we truly appreciate it, even when it's tough to hear.

We completely understand your frustration after investing 40+ hours syncing thousands of products, only for the sync to break shortly after. You're absolutely right – no one should have to redo that work. We're genuinely sorry this happened.

The good news is that Variant Shared Inventory is exactly what you need, and this seems like a specific issue we can fix permanently.

We emailed you offering to personally investigate, restore your sync, and ensure it doesn’t happen again – all without any extra work on your side. We’re still here and ready to jump in whenever you're open to giving us another chance.
