Vela | AI, optimization & more

They used to be free. Then they started charging $10/month which was worth it (even with a Shopify store and Etsy - so I had to pay double). Now they are raising their prices again. I'd have to pay $45+ a month to use this app. 100% NOT worth it.

This app has changed our whole business. What once was a tedious and grueling task of changing over 1200 SKU across several platforms, Vela has made it simple and easy to manage. I have reached out a few times over the past year and the developers are responsive and easy to work with. Much appreciative!! This is by far my most favorite app and integration tool. EVER...

Une des meilleures applications pour mettre pleins de produits en même temps, les éditer, changer les descriptions. C'est super simple à comprendre, j'adore ! Je l'utilise pour synchroniser d'Etsy à Shopify également. L'assistance est vraiment top aussi.

WOW this app brilliant, just works and has saved me valuable time.
Having had this app only a short time, I have used it for bulk editing on both my Shopify sites.
I have used it for the following;
Bulk editing my prices to add on 20% vat
Copied a compleat collection of 110 products with variations, edited the descriptions and moved them to a new collection.
Bulk removed photos from collections.
Added a new products with variants to two collections.
As for using the app there is a lot of very helpful tutorial videos.

The app worked fine for what we were using it for. As we learned more and wanted to streamline our processes, we found a quicker and more efficient way to do so. When contacting support on the best way to remove the profiles we had attached to products, we were told to create a blank profile and it would override all the other profiles. We were not told this would 0 out all the inventory, change all the prices to 0, and remove all the SKUs and UPCS input for every product. Now, we have to spend days catching up and correcting all the issues to our whole online store.

On my 3rd month of using Vela now and I can't imagine being without it now. If you want to update existing products or upload new ones, this will save you endless hours and completely streamline the process for you. Their in app support is always on hand to help with technical questions and their archive of how-to videos is comprehensive and invaluable.

For reference, I am the marketing director for a high volume, high value Shopify store. I have used and tested many Shopify apps over the years and this one is a unicorn. For $10 a month, we are saving 10s if not hundreds of hours a week.

In a marketplace flooded with low quality apps from developers rushing out products and features without understanding customer use cases, Vela is such a well designed and executed tool for listing creation and management it's hard not to be impressed. Everything I've tested so far works flawlessly (barring user error), and I've been using the original etsy-only Vela for a long time and never had an issue. This is also one of the few apps that gets actively promoted inside the Etsy control panel for store owners, and they don't add tools lightly. I've obviously got a long list of feature requests, but what I've used so far does the job really well.

I love this ap. Been using it since the free version. Happy to pay for it now becasue it saves me SO MUCH TIME. I am not the type of person who can list via .csv files, I need the visuals, and Velas layout makes my listing process streamlined.

The Ultimate Shopify App – A True Gem!

For the past 9 months, I've relied on the Vela app to power not just one, but multiple sites of mine. And oh boy, it's been an absolute gem! When I first started, Vela was already miles ahead with its advanced product editing and bulk updating capabilities – no other app came close at such an affordable price. Believe me, I've tried them all, and Vela is the clear winner!

But what truly blew me away is their unparalleled customer support. The team at Vela is a dream to work with! No automated responses or endless back-and-forth, just genuine, attentive support. They truly understand your needs and provide precise solutions without any hassle. It's like having a personal support team by your side!

I must give a huge shoutout to Justin from Vela, who has consistently gone above and beyond to assist me. The app itself is a masterpiece, constantly updated with new, impressive features thanks to the hard work of the Vela team.

All said and done, choosing Vela has been the best decision I've made for my business. If you're looking for an app that's a cut above the rest, offering both top-notch functionality and incredible support, Vela is the one!

This app has solved many of the problems I've had that Shopify alone could not solve. Replacing a color chart on my 700+ listings was completed in a matter of minutes! The customer service was fantastic and answered my question very quickly!

Update: Feb 2025 - still using the app to tackle tasks! My shop needed an update to the shipping method and I needed to add weights to each variant on every listing. I edited 1 listing, created a profile for the shipping info and applied to all my other listings at once. It's incredible how easy it is to use this app and the customer service is THE BEST. I get responses within minutes if not the same minute
