We originally left a negative review after having difficulty reaching support, but the issue was ultimately addressed and resolved. The team followed through, and the app has continued to work well for our store.
We appreciate the resolution and are happy to update our review accordingly. We want to thank Jennesca Roraldo there personally as well for helping to get things sorted!
Thanks for contacting us. We replied to your first message just 20 minutes after we received it.
The app is correctly configured in your store but it is simple disabled. If you enable it you will see how it is working. Please check the video recording of your store at https://youtu.be/Ttt9nPC8VCY
You can contact us at any time and we will be happy to assist with the app configuration.
This is totally amazing service. I was struggling for days trying to figure out how to embed an app in my Shopify site and I found this app. I installed. It took seconds. I needed a little help and the online chat set me up with Carlos who is probably a genius. He solve the problem in less that. 5 minutes and then gave me instructions on how I can do this myself in the future. I would highly recommend this application and service! God Bless you Carlos!
The app does exactly what i needed and they have the greatest customer service if you have an issue need help. Absolutely and 100% recommended!
And thanks for the super-fast help!!
Great app to make a website more dynamic. Their support team is quick to respond and help with any issues!
App is overpriced but does the job. I would be more inclined to keep this app if it was issued at cheaper rate. 1-3.00 is reasonable.
Hello Top Heavy Entertainment Team,
We are very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our pricing model.
Our app fees are tightly adjusted, taking into consideration different factors such as app development, maintenance, infrastructure, support, and server resources.
We have tried our best to maintain a delicate balance between these costs to make the app sustainable in the long run while still providing the best service possible.
We will be happy to discuss this with you over a phone call or perhaps a private chat so we can provide you with more options.
Our Customer Service Team has been trying to connect with you via email, so please feel free to respond or perhaps send us a new one at support@codeblackbelt.com and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
We are available 24/7, feel free to reach back to us anytime.
Warm Regards,
Code Black Belt Support Team
I am tech illiterate and have trouble turning on the PC let alone installing an app. But Carlos came to the rescue. Very kind patient persistent customer service. I recommend.
This app is a lifesaver! It can replace any section on your webpage with your desired video and so much more! Plus the customer support is so quick! We had to go live a day after and help was provided within minutes!

I've used this app on 4 stores now and it works out of the box superbly. If you need any fine tuning, the support is unbelievably good and rapid. This is one very fine app with an excellent support team to back it up. Highly recommend.
Herzlichen Dank!
Thank you for your amazing 5-star review! We're glad to hear you are satisfied with Video Background and that our support team assisted you properly.
