Advanced Product Options is a great app. The developers really thought it through well, considering the limitations of Shopify. Also, the Mageworx support team is excellent. Each time I have reached out they have gone above and beyond to address my concerns and help with solutions. Love it!
Causes us so many issues, creates an additional sku every time which messes up the back end with thousands of products showing. The item does not show in the checkout so customers are constantly on the phone asking if the item has been added or not. Just causes a complete mess to your skus.

We are truly sorry you faced difficulties while using the app.
As you may know, Shopify doesn’t allow third-party apps to change original products’ prices at the checkout without using the standard variants or cloning the product.
So to make it possible to pass the selected options to the Checkout, the app generates a custom product variant for each unique combination of options added to the cart.
But the trick here is that we don’t create duplicate variants. If a variant with the same options already exists, we reuse that variant, instead of creating a new one.
As for the Checkout issue, you may address us at apps@mageworx.com and our support team will check it.
We've reviewed your previous tickets submitted several months ago, there were incompatibility issues with the third-party drawer.
Unfortunately, no app provider can guarantee compatibility with external plugins.

I'd rate Mageworx with 10 stars if possible! Amazingly helpful and fast support - there have been so many times where I've asked whether something, seemingly complex was possible and they have always been able to solve the problem and provide an update the same day. Unbelievably good service.
Very excited to have found this app - we tried so many and none of them had the swatch options that we needed but this is perfect. We also reached out for some help with customising the swatch display and the service was quick, helpful and they did all the customisation for us! Thanks again!
Excellent app! Been using it for some time now. Started off having a few bugs but customer service is quick and helpful and Angelika is amazing. Moreover, when their app doesn't do something you need or has problems, they always look for way to improve it so don't hesitate to ask for what you need!
I did not realize Shopify only allowed three options so I bought and installed Advanced product options. I ran into some issues getting color and image swatches to show up, so I placed a support ticket with Mageworks and they had everything fixed by the next morning. Great product and amazing service.
I use the Advanced Product Options app for custom furniture on my store and have to say it works flawlessly. The support from the staff is beyond my expectations. They’ve helped me with tweaks and modifications to suit my specific needs and it didn’t cost anything extra. Thank you to the Mageworx team.

This app has worked great for us. Really appreciate the excellent and responsive support. Questions and issues have been addressed and resolved quickly. Also, when we were building a new regional store they were able to duplicate and transfer the options to the new store saving us a huge amount of time and money.
