As long as simple customizations are performed, it works ok. There are some common sense things that should be different, but for basic use, it works out of the box. Support team is willing to help most times, and they do some backgound work to make your theme work fine.

HOWEVER
I've had at least 3 times in the past year where my customizations changed behavior silently and we only noticed when customers complained.

Live Preview is a joke. It is a MVP at most. As soon as you try to do some real world customization preview you hit a wall of limitations. We decided to stop using the feature completely.

Again, the support is very willing to help and they do follow on most of the reported annoyances and limitations, but we're at a point where we need something that does not feel so patchy.

When you suggest a feature, it will mostly get ignored, or you will be presented with a development fee which does not usually make much sense. I asked for a very complicated "sort options A-Z" so we could sort our option sets instead of manually draggin them around in the list. One year later we're still dragging option sets to sort them manually.

Translations used to require CSV export, translation and import. Now you can do them manually in the app, but there's no option to do it linking a third party LLM API key or similar.

Again, it is starting to lag behind others. When it launched it got very quickly on par with other competing aps, but not it is no longer in the first line in terms of features.

This App is great for my store, i had a few problems and custom designs i needed to make it work in my store and the support staff are amazing SAM and Dev JAYDEN worked with me until i was 100% satisfied with the look and feel i was after for my store. I would highly recommend this App not only on the features it offers but the support is 2nd to none.

My client and I are extremely happy with the flexibility and options that come with Avis Product Options, and have been so pleased with the wide range of product customizations that we have been able to achieve ever since implementing it on my client's website. There were a few items that I couldn't quite code correctly to change the tooltip and options colors, and I reached out to support for assistance. Sam was extremely kind and helpful with her assistance and communicated thoroughly throughout the process while her team was looking into the issue, and dev. Jayden was extremely efficient with the solution and had both of my issues corrected within a matter of minutes.

I'm learning more and more about Avis' capacity and started with a few listings to get comfortable with it. By doing so I've continued to expand my view on possible applications to our product lines. When I've come to think "I wish it could...." there usually is a way, and when I contact the Avis team they lead the way!

Avis has been the most incredible customer service out of any app. The team truly is there 24/7, they ask the right questions, dive into what it is we're doing with our brand, give concise guidance with examples and alternatives when it applies. I've had the pleasure of working with Aylin, Sam, Hena, and Emily, they all have been very knowledgeable and kind.

Our listings with their new options have already started doing well, I believe they give our customers more confidence in their purchases and also encourage/upsell.

All in all, Avis was a great find!

The product itself is amazing, lots of flexibility to create a unique user experience. What's more, is the support. The immediate chat support provided prevents bottlenecks if you just can't figure something out. A+ on support and guidance, thank you!

LUCY and the developer KIERA from the Avis Team were incredibly helpful! I needed some development work to update the styling of my new option button to match the original design of my website, and they nailed it. Once I gave them collaborator access, they quickly created and implemented the custom code needed. On top of that, they generously added free features to help me configure add-on charges for option values, along with an add-charge notification. The product is excellent, and the support team is fast, responsive, professional, and very friendly. Highly recommended!

I use both their free and paid plans on multiple stores. I love these guys, it's so much easier to setup and use and it populates the variants nearly instantly where bold product options sometimes took 15 minutes. Also their support responds almost instantly. They're incredible and I absolutely love this company. I wish they had more apps to replace some of the terrible ones I'm stuck with.

This Avis Option app works really well, and has streamlined our custom order process. The back-end is very easy to use, and intuitive, plus the support chat is really great they fix any issues or help you out right away. Emily was great to help me out quickly. Highly recommend!
