Super responsive. I made an additional filtering request and it was done in just a few hours. Literally made all the difference between 2 hours of work and 50 hours of work!
Exactly what I needed! Simple and straightforward bulk description editing. It allows filtering your products by tags, vendor, or title. I needed to be able to see multiple descriptions (without all the code) and either copy info to each or adjust it to suit the individual product. Shopify should integrate this app. into their system. Thank you! You have saved me and my little team hours of tedious editing.
this just made my day! Thank you so much!
MEW initially uninstalled my app. I sent a follow up email asking why. Upon learning that she wanted filters (tags, vendor, title), I implemented her request in a few days.
If anybody has a feature request, let me know and I'll probably build it in a matter of days! Let me know!
This app is beyond amazing I needed to bulk edit a large paragraph on 300+ listings without changing the entire description. This was too much text for the “search + replace” tool to handle, however the programmer responded very promptly and kindly created an additional “search replace HTML” Wich gave the results needed and it enabled me to change a substantial amount of text on 300+ listings effortlessly.. highly recommend!
if anybody has a custom feature request, send me an email about it and there's a good chance I might actually build it!
Overall a great app that is easy to use and exactly what I needed! I tried different apps before this one, but I just couldn't figure them out. But this one made the job so easy and saved me so much time.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there was a minor glitch of which I'm not completely sure it was on their end. But when I would paste a text in the description box for product nr 5, it would jump to product nr 10 and the gap got bigger the further I got. So at the end I had to do a lot of scrolling.
Edit: I currently have no need for the app, maybe in the future. But thanks for the responds! Glad it is fixed now :)
hey ya that glitch was the app's problem. I pushed out a major update on July 22 that switched the rich text editors -- this resulted in that bug where there's a sudden scroll down.
Several other users reported that issue too and I was working to fix it ASAP.
However I just fixed it 3 days ago, so now there's no more annoying scroll down.
I've updated the app to temporarily remove the paywall for myshopify domain "little-lefty-lou.myshopify.com" so you can verify the fix if you'd like to.
ya I'm really sorry about that bug though. Could you update your review once you get the chance?
Works like a charm! Thank you. This really is an unique and why no one has done it before way of doing this task. Hats off to you.
thank you! This was another custom feature request to search-replace a text. I implemented it within 4 hours of him asking.
If anyone has a custom feature request, let me know!
It's a great app to replace fast bulk edit product descriptions, HTML internal linking, or just HTTP:// to HTTPS://
This damn APP screwed up ALL MY HTML CODES ON EVERY DESCRIPTION ON EVERY PRODUCT. THERE"S NO WAY TO ROLL BACK THE CHANGES NOW AND I"M STUCK WITH HOURS OF WORK MANUALLY FIXING THE BULK CHANGES!
SCREW THIS DAMN APP
Update: there are now automated backups, and the app has a new rich text editor that doesn't change the html codes at all. All the problems raised in this review are fixed now.
I needed technical support for my account. I made such a mess of things. To the point that I didn't know how to undo it. Long story short... If it wasn't for the backups available in the app, that worked perfectly. I would have had a nightmare of having to change over 5,000 listings manually. So, the result was a perfect backup. Thank GAWD! The editor worked Great - it did not strip any divs or HTML. I wanted to restore it to where I needed it. The Programmer was very patient with me and solved the issue, albeit over an hour. They were great in their support. And it was all returned to working great, and I'm delighted with the service.
I've noticed since getting this app that it's getting better and better by the day. I look forward to using it more.
Ease of use is great. Removed it because I no longer needed the program. Suggest it if you need the service it provides.
thank you so much for this awesome review!!
