Ablestar Bulk Product Editor

one of the best apps we use, gets us out of a pickle for our large product catalogue and everything is reversible - 100% recommend we've had it 5-6 years now

Needs simple improvements that would help the workload. This app is supposed to save time but it needs to improve all you have to do just to schedule an edit. At some point I question if I should just bulk change prices in Shopify the day of the event. It would almost certainly be faster than this. It's clunky and I don't understand the 5 star average review.

1. When searching for products to edit, you cant just type in the product name and have options populate like in the Shopify product module. You have to choose a filter like "title" then start typing the title. Then the app gives you everything with that title which means you eventually have to delete the products you dont want, one by one. Or you have to keep adding filters to trim down the products that populate. This becomes tedious.

2. You can't edit a scheduled edit if you make a mistake. You have to cancel and start over. Which means you'll have to do #1 all over again.

3. If I have 5 products and want to schedule price changes and these 5 products are from the same group but have 3 different promo prices based on the fact some have more inventory than others, you cant just manually enter the different prices. You will have to schedule 3 different price edits which again is tedious. Each edit has to be for the same price and settings.

Never fails - being able to reverse price changes at the end of a discount period saves so much time!

Great app very logical! Saved us hours of time updating all of our products when we needed to update product warehouse locations.

If you are sick of editing hours and hours of excel files... get this app NOW! I cannot say enough good about this app. It has saved me HOURS if not DAYS in editing products. A absolute lifesaver. It blows my mind that Shopify does not have a system in place like this. Just one thing, I wish editing photos was easier and you could choose 50 items at a time like Shopify. But 10 stars, for real.

I had trouble bulk deleting almost 2 million products and this app was, by far, the best option. Not only was it able to delete them all, the support team was so helpful. They answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this app!

Such a great app. It is kind of wild that it can make Shopify function so much better?! Very powerful and super intuitive. I was intending on using it for a few jobs and reviewing, but I can see this being a core part of our usage.
