Shopify Combined Listings

Nice idea but it still doesnt get around shopifys 100 variant issue. If you combine multiple products together it will only show the first 100 variants and then cuts off the rest which makes it basically useless for us

Very helpful for large variants. May not work with other apps.

Have not been able to get this to work, not for lack of trying. Very disappointed!

Merchants are downloading this without reading the requirements. They are using it on incompatible themes then giving a bad rating for incompatibility. Only works on the latest version of Dawn (currently Dawn 15.0) It works as advertized in the documentation.

The idea behind this app is great, but unfortunately it isn’t usable in reality. When using Combined Listings, the color filter on collection pages stops working because child products cannot contain a color option — the app generates the color variant only at the parent level. Shopify’s filters don’t recognize these parent-created options, making a key shop function essentially useless. In its current state, the app can’t be used for a real storefront.

I was really hoping for this dramatically announced feature to subtitute our swatches app but the functions are so basic and really not revolutionary at all. Custom color names (Dark Green instead of just Green) plus according swatches are not possible. Also variants don't show up as individual products on the store front, which is unpractical for the customer, as they only see individual colors when clicking the product that just has one thumbnail aka one color. All in all the feature would be so cool and helpful if it actually had more depth and function to it.

We are using the Dawn 13.0.1 theme from Shopify which should be compatible with Combined Listings. In the Shopify help I don't find any limitation of variants and according to the support answer here in the reviews it should work. For example, we have 20 colours and 15 sizes per model. Only one part is displayed here, the rest is shown as not available. So unfortunately the app is of no use to us if there is a restriction on the variants. What a pity!!!

Thank you for the reply and the information about the update to Dawn 15.0.0. We have carried out the update, but unfortunately only around 250 of the approx. 300 variants are displayed. For all others, either the color or individual sizes are crossed out and cannot be selected. Can you please check this and help us?

not easy to use

Great tool for listings with multiple colors, sizes, etc.

It works great so far. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that there does not seem to be a way to import combined listings - which makes it quite a lengthy manual process.
