This is hands down one of the most disruptive and risky B2B/wholesale apps I’ve ever used.
After installing Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B, everything seemed fine — until we tried to uninstall it. The moment the app was removed, our website functionality was severely affected and key parts of the store stopped working properly. It created unnecessary downtime, confusion, and immediate business risk.
No app should leave behind code, locks, or theme disruptions that break a live website after uninstall. That’s a fundamental standard. An app should integrate cleanly — and exit cleanly. This one did not.
If you are running a live ecommerce store, be extremely cautious. Test on a duplicate theme first and be prepared for potential disruption if you ever remove it.
In our experience, this has been the worst-performing wholesale lock app we’ve dealt with. Definitely not something we can recommend to serious store owners.

Yes, once you uninstall the app then our app loses all access instantly, and is unable to remove itself.
Because of this, our system sent you an email when you installed the app that clearly outlines this, and includes a link to download your original store theme files, in case there are any issues.
When you uninstalled the app our system sent another email warning you that the lock(s) were still enabled, and that it recommended you temporarily reinstall the app and disable the lock(s) before finally uninstalling.
Again I am very sorry for these challenges. I agree its not ideal, and it'd be better if the app could undo its changes on uninstall, however it appears its just not possible given how Shopify's app ecosystem works currently.

Do not use. It's a scam. Tried to uninstall. Broke my site and the code is still in the background. It's all the way through my site. Support giving the same instructions. The code tapped into collections, products, everything. It's overwritten everything.

Hi, I'm sorry about this! You can simply reinstall the app (no charge or anything) and uninstall from within the app to clean everything up.
When you install yes the app modifies your store's theme code so it can implement the lock(s) you've configured, and we email you to let you know that this is happening and how to clean it up.
We also email you a backup of your theme code before the app changes in case thats helpful.

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!! Once you uninstall it your whole site crashes and you cant find what piece of code they added to make all your work go away.

STAY AWAY! DON'T INSTALL!! this app is very unstable and corrupted our theme. Then it is impossible to uninstall. Shopify had to go in and fix the theme files. I followed all the uninstall instructions but our site was still broken.
Just like all the other 1-star reviews says, this app crashed our website as well when uninstalling. When it worked, it worked. However, the uninstall part was a red flag for this app. Take caution while using EasyLockdown.
Wish I could give it negative stars. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This app cost me SO MUCH in lost revenue. Their coding does not work properly and it caused every single page on our website to have a "noindex" tag, which made it completely invisible to Google and other search engines. Our sales tanked for the last 2 months and it took hiring an outside developer to realize this app was the cause. Before installing this app, we were on the first page of Google for most of our relevant keywords, now we can't even be found. It is going to take an unbelievable amount of time and money to get our position back in search, not even counting all of the lost revenue, especially over the holiday season. I have to imagine the customers leaving positive reviews on this app just haven't realized yet that they are lost to search engines... Not worth the risk, this is literally THE WORST app ever made.
I'm really sorry that you had such issues with your website indexing, but as our support team explained you after studying the piece of code your developer sent, noindex issue is not related to our app.
The code you sent us (the one your developer found out to cause that problems) is not the code our app is adding to your theme to lock the products. Our app really adds noindex tag to locked products (that don't have public access anyway), but it adds that tag with another code, in a different way.
We clearly understand how seriously that noindex issue might affect your business, and I'm really sorry you had such issues, but that issues is not related to our app in any way.
Just installed and haven't even created a single lockdown. Entire site is broke. Only showing header and footer. I removed the app according to their instructions and the site still isn't fixed. I am having to use Rewind to install an old theme now which better work. Avoid this app at all costs.
Poor support. Had a question and never got an answer. I've waited 7 days with no reply. Try harder at support if you want to charge people for your app.

I've just double-checked our ticket system (incl. spam folder) and I don't see any request from the email address related to your store or your store domain. Maybe there was some typo in the email address?..
