We have been looking for a great platform to offer our customers the option of making their order Carbon Neutral and EcoCart is 100% the best! Incredible customer service and I can't believe how easy it was to set up. 100% recommended!
Great concept and easy to understand execution. We just downloaded it but we are excited to see how customers like it. Great customer service and Dane helped me implement the widget when I had any issues. Easy to set up as well!

EcoCart is awesome. Their team and customer support top notch. They helped work out a few kinks with custom CSS for my store. And the product helps us (and out customers) to do our part to fight climate change.
I knew we needed this as soon as we saw it! We are doing carbon offsetting as a company, but weren't involving the customer in that. EcoCart makes it easy for customers to be a part of the story of their order's carbon footprint, and our customers are loving it. Probably took less than an hour to setup, haven't had any issues with it since. So easy, makes everyone feel good all around - customers, team members...Thank you, EcoCart!
EDIT: After a few days, the technical gremlins seemed to have been sorted and we have now successfully reinstalled the app without any problems whatsoever. Support has been fantastic in assisting and keeping us updated during this period and also with the installation. Must particularly thank Austin who got the widget beautifully matching our store theme. So, now a definite 5-star rating, Good idea but I don't think it is suitable for use in the United Kingdom. Was told that I needed to enter payment details to stop it showing the offset in $, but having done that it made no difference. In fact, I couldn't get it to display in our cart despite setting it up several times. Wondered if I might need to enter my bank information as well, but couldn't as it doesn't recognise UK banks. On top of all this, the Admin side of things is painfully slow.
Hi there - Dane here, CEO and co-founder of EcoCart. I apologize for your initial experience. I can assure you that our solution does in fact work with all different currencies. All themes are different and have customized nuances, and we can actually set it all up for you so it will work flawlessly and in the local currency (wherever your customer is located) and so that it shows up each time upon the first "add to cart" action. I see you are in contact with our support team about a re-integration and we look forward to ensuring the set up surpasses your expectations!

The app is easy to use and the team has been incredibly hands-on and responsive in helping to implement and customize the features into our website theme. So far, we're thrilled with EcoCart from start to finish.
We highly DISCOURAGE the use of Ecocart and will never recommend it again. We disabled the app from September 2021 after finding an alternate solution and confirming with the team that we wouldn't be charged moving forward. However, they began charging us again in January, explained that they had migrated to a newer version of their widget so it was automatically enabled on our store again; this was done WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. Furthermore, given that they have retired the offsets for donations collected, there won't be any refunds. We cannot trust a company that is not transparent with their updates or integrations and continues to charge without any warning even after we disabled it. Although we support carbon neutral delivery, there are many alternative, more trustworthy solutions available, and we do not recommend Ecocart.

It seems that, during this process, EcoCart was still installed in your store, and unfortunately, the widget was merely hidden, leading to unexpected charges. Please know that our team acted swiftly upon realizing that a small group of our customers, including yourself, were impacted by this oversight. We have issued refunds for those mistaken charges.

This app is the answer to all your carbon-offsetting prayers. It's taken the stress out of needing to make sure we are doing all we can to be carbon-neutral. Our customers want to play their part and EcoCart has helped them help us to help the planet! Dane (the owner) has been a pleasure to deal with and is super responsive and patient. He's also been amazing at getting the app to look just how we need it to on our checkout. The process for us and our customers is effortless and it makes all the difference. It's so rewarding seeing our collection amounts and the amount of trees that it equates to on our dashboard. Cannot recommend this app enough.
