Its amazing and helpful easy to setup just 1 little thing that google needs to fix is that their compliance policies and guiding sellers to set that up properly.

It was very easy to connect. It takes a day or so to scan everything, depending on the amount of products. You don't have to sign up for GMC first, just do it through the app and you can click on it at any time to review what needs attention. Make sure your shipping & return policy is visible along with your business address and email. You can change your email later to [at] to avoid bot scanners. Overall it was a great experience and was completed including 'fixes' within a week. It is a nice option to gain visibility and run ad campaigns.
