Merchants say this app is excellent for advanced product customization beyond Shopify’s native options, especially for personalized and made‑to‑order items. They like the many option types, conditional logic, and “virtual variants” for complex setups. Setup is described as intuitive, with reusable templates and strong performance on 2.0 themes. The free tier is valued, and support is frequently praised as fast, proactive, and highly effective.

Exactly what I need for variants I don't need to maintain stock levels for. The support is great and fixed an issue I had really quickly. Thank you!
Good app to manage variants when more options are needed than standard shopify allowances. Just started using it but it looks like this will be a keeper.
Simple, easy, free! This app is great. I was looking for something easy to use. This app allowed me to easily integrate radio style options for my product.
I used this app on my website options for my customized products that need the customers to enter or choose specific information and colors. It worked amazingly!
This app helped my to add customised products and was a lot easier to use than other apps that I had tried previously. It's the BEST app for adding customisations to product pages!
I have used this app on my two websites and awesome features. Like uploading images and other features too. The UI/admin panel of this app needs improvement this is my personal opinion.
I love using icons for variants. My client's catalog is so big and this app really helped me create the necessary variations in a fraction of the time it would have taken without the app.
I absolutely love this app. It is exactly what I need for my personalized labels shop (Shameless Plug: Creabels.com )
It is very convenient and has all the features I need for customers to customize their orders.
King Options is the perfect app. Not only for the functions but also for the support. The team were all very helpful in helping me re-configure my swatches in my new website theme. Highly recommend this app. It looks fantastic.
For a free app, I was expecting it to be clunky and slow. I could not be more impressed with the usability for option sets and how quick it works. They only thing that would be nice is if they could integrate price change options (looks like it might be in the works?).
