Mechanic

My organization started the transition to Mechanic a few weeks ago when we required a new tax receipt app. The transition was seamless thanks to their support team. They patiently addressed all my questions, provided swift fixes, and made the process incredibly smooth. Even in just a couple of weeks, the app has proven to be efficient and reliable for managing receipts. Highly recommended for its user-friendly experience and great customer service.

This application is truly amazing! The possibilities it offers are limitless. We rely on a third-party application to manage our stock, products, and locations, but it only imports the basic information like titles, descriptions, and images. With Mechanic, I can effortlessly automate the application of metafields, update titles and descriptions, and add custom tags, streamlining the entire process. The functionality it provides is remarkable. Moreover, the support and documentation are both professional and user-friendly, making it even more valuable. I highly recommend this app!

The level of complexity here is breathtaking, but it's become an absolutely vital component of our store. The team behind it is amazing and super helpful and responsive. I can't recommend this app enough, it's saved us a lot of headache! The task library is impressive as well - fantastic job covering so many use cases and demonstrating how flexible your product is!

Amazing app. I have been searching for an inventory app for a while to sync all of our inventory sku's that are matching across my store. I'm beyond happy to have found mechanic! The developers are very quick to help fix or correct my mistakes. Love being able to sync my inventory across all my variants.

Mechanic is an extremely powerful app that provides the flexibility of extremely custom workflows without the hassle of having to setup/maintain a server. Have used Mechanic for just about everything: from custom order printing to syncing information between apps that don't integrate with Shopify as nicely as we'd like them to. Super helpful documentation and support team.

It's rare that I feel passionate about a Shopify App, let alone any app at all. Mechanic however—I'm in love . Shopify has incredible API support, but it can be challenging to make use of the APIs to their fullest, even for a seasoned developer. Even if you have the skills, you still need to build your own application to make use of the APIs, worry about choosing a build environment, hosting, deployment, maintenance, downtime, and all the other stuff that comes with a custom solution. Alternatively, you can use an automator/integrator like Zapier, but then you're limited to the functionality that the automator platform chooses to expose.

Mechanic removes all that, and give you access to the full power of Shopify's API's, all using the familiar language of liquid that so many of us developers work with day in and day out. It used to be that if I needed a small custom solution for one of our shops, I would spend days trying to remember how to set up a Ruby environment, get it hosted on Heroku, get webhooks working, and then have a barely working application that did just that one thing and nothing else.

Since using Mechanic for the past half-year, I honestly don't think I'll ever build a custom Shopify application again. Mechanic has empowered to me to create all kinds of solutions for our business that I never even considered attempting in the past—the barrier to entry was just too high. With Mechanic, I can just write a task to do whatever I want, and best of all, *have fun doing it.*
