Order Printer Pro: PDF Invoice

Love this App. It makes it so easy to customize your invoices and receipts. We have a complicated situation because we are a nonprofit that distributes goods to other nonprofits for a small admin fee but we also need to show the donated value in the receipt. The Order Printer Pro team helped us with the liquid code to make the custom receipt. We could have not done this without them because we do not have that sort of technical expertise in house. Thank you Order Printer Pro team, you rock!

Great app which works well with both our b2c and b2b customers. They have a professional and quick customer support team! Had an issue resolved immediately! Also, helped us with the formatting of the templates!

The app just works! It does the job I required (just the 'Download PDF Invoice' link on my Order Confirmation page). I had a small problem with a line of html appearing after the link. I asked for help which was instant and resolved the problem straight away.

They keep updating the product, and we keep suffering with their updates, now, our team has experienced interruptions for many times, this has delayed our shipment process which depends on this app. Now, we started using shopify native order printer app, converted all the template codes that we optimised by using ai solutions. we don't recommend at all....

Used ChatGPT and Claude to recreate our invoices and packing list to be used in free Shopify Order Printer app. Doesn't have all the features of OPP, but we didn't need all those features, especially didn't need the VAT/EU features. Very happy with the change. Invoices and packing list look nearly identical to OPP, was able to fix so that payment method doesn't show 'Unknown' when payment was via PayPal Wallet, and code is much cleaner and easier to read even with comments, and almost half as many lines of code. Saving a little money on app subscription is just an added bonus. Don't get me wrong, OPP was a great app that worked very well for us, but it frustrated me that we were paying for an app that added a bunch of EU specific features that we didn't need since we are not in the EU nor do we sell to the EU.

Not happy that they just added a "feature" that should/could have been a separate app for the stores that need it. We bought a toaster, and now they turned it into a toaster and blender combo. I don't want the blender nor the toaster and blender combo. I just want the toaster. So we can now either choose to ignore the extra section added to our order page and ignore the extra choices on the menu, or look for another toaster that keeps things simple and cleaner looking. May need to look into Shopify Order Printer since it is getting good reviews after its redesign.

This app is a must. The document customization options alone are worth the price. We print to letterhead that already has our color logo on it, so we can print on black and white printers. This saves on color toner costs, and black and white printers are less expensive. We simply duplicated each document so that each has one with the logo on it, and one with a blank space where the logo would be printed, to print on letterhead.

As long as they don't break it with an update like they recently did, it's a 5 star app.

Again and again they help me out so quickly and offer some fantastic solutions. It's a relief when there are so many app support people who're so unhelpful with their cut/ paste links and videos that they normally send.

Forsberg are like Shopify 10 years ago (their prime with regards to support).

This App is what I needed for my store receipts! Customers are offered a link to downloadable receipt in PDF form on any communication I choose.

Works on mobile or PC.

Took me a while to find something that did as good a job as this does! :) Support staff are very helpful too

This is a great little app - easy to set up (once I'd finished overcomplicating things !) A point to note: Our notification 'shipping confirmation' is in plain text only - don't insert the emailer code here otherwise the customer gets raw html for the emailer download link. This is nothing to do with this app, more a limitation with Shopify. UPDATE: There is an issue with some Shopify notification templates - some of ours were set to plain text only (not sure why, nothing we've done) - clicking the revert button did not work - here's the simple cure: delete the contents of the template, save, then click revert & save again, this will solve the issue & you can safely put the emailer code within any notification html template. Thankyou Bjorn for the excellent, speedy support & for another well executed app ! Update 12/7/21: We've been using this app for some time now & it's great. We've recently experienced some slow downs with the orders loading but this has been resolved. Great technical backup as always ! UPDATE October 2022: We required HS codes & country of origin to be added to our templates & our EORI number added to an export template, on both occasions the support has been an example to follow. This is a truly excellent app with outstanding long term customer support.

Update 10/10/25: we reached out for support as we required some templates modifying, Nicolas responded almost instantly & sorted the problem quickly with no fuss. This is next level support ! Thankyou so much.

Great App. Simple, fast installation and does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. Customers cannot re-print or view their invoices in Shopify so this is a way to satisfy customers who need to view or print their invoices.
Update Dec 2025. After many, many years still using this APP. Customer service is always available with fast response and fix. Highly recommend !

I have been using Order Printer Pro for many years to create quotes, invoices and delivery notes for our Shopify orders. It has always been a very reliable and useful app.

The ability to create custom templates with minimal coding knowledge, along with the option to edit text before printing, is extremely valuable.

The support is always excellent and fast
