Personizely: A/B Testing

We have been in business for 7 years and this is our first review. This is app is excellent. Period. We came to this app for email list building (entrance pop-up). Before that we tried and used most existing solutions on the Shopify App store. We are now also using Personizely for cross-sell pop-ups (after add to cart and before check-out) and abandoned carts (triggered on exit intent).
It just works. The user interface is clear; you can go from an out of the box template and then add very extensive and in-depth customizations.
Our preferred feature is A/B testing: test up to 5 variations and clearly see which one is preforming the best. We recently started to use the "personalization" feature, opening a whole new world by enabling us to customize shopper experience. Basically, you can show a totally different store, to different shoppers. The cross-sell and abandoned cart popups pay for the app and more. Now the best part is the support. These guys must sleep with the support chat window open... The app is super easy to set up but can also do very complex and powerful stuff: so we needed help several times. We always received knowledgeable, quick and clear answers. Talk about accountability? they send you the chat transcript right away...! You can also have a chance to chat with the founder...

App is great and really acts as a virtual sales rep in a sense. The platform makes setup and implementation of ideas and strategies extremely easy and just a few clicks away for so many different types of templates and widgets.

Personizely is the only app we see the results right away.

Cost effective, easy to learn with great UX with the best possible support team!

Once you set widgets it sets you free and allows you to focus on other important things. Most importantly, it brings growth of sales immediately.

I am using the app since a while now and find it very useful. Our products are complex and customers can overlook easily text written in the description, but with the pop ups that doesnt happen anymore. And customer service is really amazing!

This is one of the best-hidden jewels in the Shopify app store. I am not sure how I found it, but it has been a game-changer for us. I strongly recommend this for anyone looking to make a beautiful pop-up that seamlessly integrates with other marketing applications or stores that want to increase average cart value with the cross-sell pop-up offer you can build. Highly recommend it! Update: The customer support team is Amazing and ready to help when you need them! Can say enough how glad I am I found this app and company!

We've been using this App for a short period of time but have seen great results in customer upsells and order capture. We had a slight issue with design which Sergiu and the team fixed for us in swift time - very impressed. Thanks all - keep up the great work :)

This is really an amazing app. The design is great and helped me immediately to increase average order value. But apart from this, what's really superb is the support you're getting. In my case, from Sergiu. An onboarding call was scheduled, and many questions have been answered swiftly and accurately in the meantime. I was looking for an app to create popups throughout my site with an easy to use interface. I tried a few cheap/free apps, but Personizely was absolutely the easiest one to use! Well worth the money every month since it saves me so much time versus the other apps I tried. Definitely recommend!!

App has a glitch which causes the cart no to function properly. Another glitch causes the app to install in backup versions of your theme. This caused a myriad of issues and an expensive process for diagnosing. Support was friendly, but seemed to either not completely understand the issue or lacked understanding on how this affected us with regards to time/money. They offered a discount, but other issues with the app means even a discount doesn't make the app worthwhile. For example, you have to create upsell widgets one by one by one. This may be sufficient for a site with only a few products. If you have the number of products we have (4000), its just not realistic to consider an app that requires us to do anything one product at a time. We'll swallow the cost of our developers 5 hours of diagnostics and move on.

As a newbie to the pop-op world of marketing, this app has an ease of use that makes sense to me. I'd downloaded several apps but with Personizely I was able to create what I needed in 10 minutes. Not only was I able to create a pop-up but also a slide in and have already gotten opt-ins as a result.

I did have a few issues, learners error, and when I emailed support they prompt and very helpful.
