QuickSync: Etsy Integration

So I downloaded this app at the beginning of the year & it just does not actually work how it should. Notice that the positive reviews are generally from users that have just downloaded the app & not used it very long. This is because you will need to contact customer support from the beginning who will ask you repeatedly to leave 5 star feedback before you’ve even had a chance to use the app

This app consistently glitched & did not sync with my Shopify website. I generally had to contact support for my inventory to sync on both my Etsy & Shopify platforms after a sale was made on Etsy. This app also would randomly go through & change the inventory for several of my products without a sale even occurring. It ultimately was causing more problems than it created & I do not recommend it

The UX-UI of this application is not the best, and the back-end responsible for syncing your products is spotty at best in frequent cases. It will work some of the time, half work other times, and sometimes just not work. Telling me the product is working then wanting me to provide more data for their product to try to fix it again, and again, etc...
Support and developers seem to have little insight into what is going on. Avoid unless you have no other options.

As a VIP customer, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with an Etsy integration app.

I honestly found myself asking:

"Are all the other 5-star reviewers seeing something I'm not, or was my experience completely different?"

Before the migration, I spent a great deal of time preparing my Shopify store. I even sent two pages of detailed instructions to the support representative, Joseph. My request was very clear:

Synchronize only a few products first so I can review everything before importing the entire catalog.

Unfortunately, this request was ignored.

Within about a minute, the app synchronized my products from Shopify to Etsy, and many listings were transferred with serious errors. Instead of receiving the careful onboarding I expected as a VIP customer, I had to spend hours correcting listings one by one myself.

The outcome was devastating.

Only one week after using QuickSync, my Etsy shop was suspended.

I cannot state with certainty that QuickSync alone caused the suspension, but I trusted an Etsy integration app to transfer my listings correctly. If there were compatibility or policy risks, I expected them to be identified during the onboarding process—not after my shop had already been affected.

This experience cost me a significant amount of time, unnecessary stress, and the loss of my newly opened Etsy shop.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app.

Very bad syncing, keeps messing up everytime and keep syncing all orders all the time - stay away!

Be cautious of the 5 star reviews, while the custom service is great, they also try to have you leave reviews. The app consistanly fails, only way I can actually have listings linked is by talking to customer service and I still need to manually update listings if something sold on one platform or another.

too complicated to import. made me scared and did not want to risk it. once installed it already changed how my incoming orders looked on shopify which seemed weird. scaryyyyyy

DO NOT USE THIS APP! Beware, we used this app for many months, and it will be great until on day this app will brick your entire etsy store. Support has been entirely useless. I have lost thousands of dollars in revenue because the plugin changed all of my products prices to $1 and sold out of all inventory on my stock. Support is absolutely useless, and they will not help you at all as your store burns to the ground caused by their horrible plugin.

BUYER BEWARE!

This has been a nightmare.

Listing Titles, Descriptions (Bullet Points) and Images all needed repair.

Your so-called “Fetching” erased a significant portion of my 7 year old Shopify SKUs. It will take weeks to repair.

I didn’t think it possible for QuickSync to destroy BOTH my Etsy Store and my Shopify Store.

Your “Order Syncing” is nonexistent without contact information, billing and shipping addresses. A non-starter.

One Customer Service Rep was so rude and unhelpful, he would not last a day in my employ.
(I think you can figure out who this is by reading the entirety of the 5 day thread of issues).

QuickSync’s performance would be laughable if it weren’t so sad.

I will reach out to Shopify to let them know my experience.

This app duplicated HUNDREDS of Etsy listings from my Shopify store, auto put them as active, and cost me so much in listing fees. 0/10 this app shouldn't be allowed on the Shopify app store

Never really worked right unless i contacted support and now that’s not even available. It would have taken half the time just to post the listings on Etsy on my own.
