We use Shogun on all of our Shopify sites as it helps us quickly spin up designs without wasting time struggling with limited theme design blocks or custom code. Support has been amazing, Andre and the team are always quick to respond to any questions that we have. So grateful for this app!

The support team is the diamond. Yeah the builder works, its UI is intuitive, there are built in AB capabilities, all the bells and whistles. However, online it all works until it doesn't. This is where the supports matters! Responsive and knowledgeable!
We were updating a theme and something broke. Mobile CSS issue. Within minutes the support identified the line that was giving us hardships in our theme. They saved us days in QAQC, development and helped us bring the new theme in front of our customers.
On Shopify the biggest cost is the opportunity cost! Thanks Sweetan! You are a Rockstar!

I only installed this app hoping to find a way how I can use this app for our website but there is no trial to find out and you have to pay right away to use the app. However, on the back end the app installed various code to my theme without me using the app. As a result and because of their permissions to be able to change pages, some of my pages have been completely removed of text.
Uninstalling the app and will never use it again. Suggest PageFly app instead.

I am sorry to hear about the issues that have led to this 1 star review for our app.
I was looking at your account, and I have a few things that I would like to clarify.
1 - We offer 10 days of free trial on all our plans. When you select the trial, Shopify will proceed with the authorisation of the upcoming/recurring monthly charges. This happens when you select the plan to trial. That doesn't mean you will be charged right away. You can uninstall the app before the 10-day free trial period to cancel.
2 - Any app that is installed will add some code to the theme to ensure it functions correctly. The same happens with Shogun. When you install the app, Shogun adds minimal code to ensure you can create or edit pages. This is normal behavior. However, you can always remove the code using our detailed guide if you are not looking to use the app.
I see you imported 2 pages to us, and you will see the Shogun code in the theme.
3 - I am not able to locate any support conversation under your email address about these issues. Our team is more than happy to assist you if you have any doubts or questions. I see you refer to some of your pages having issues due to Shogun where the text is removed. If you could provide the example pages along with the screenshot of what text is removed, our team will be happy to check. BTW, I want to let you know that installing Shogun doesn't cause such issues, but we can only check when we have an example.

Amazing support, Sweetan took the time to send me a video to help me understand the relationship between padding, maximum heights across different devices and other things that were/are very confusing for me. Using sections, the app has made a big difference to my home page as I do have limited options within my theme. So now the options are limitless.

The Shogun app has allowed us to add custom pages and sections to our website that are beyond the capabilities of the normal Shopify templates. The Shogun page builder is easy and intuitive to use for making good looking blogs - but it certainly helped that a collegue made a 30 min tutorial for me. One small glitch is that it if you try to add too many elements before publishing sometimes they don't work. Having said that the results are infinitely better than using the blog function in Shopify. The other thing to notice is that the customer service is exceptional for third party software. They respond quickly and even follow up! Imagine that!

I have been using this app for a couple years and have mixed reviews. I find this app to be nice for formatting a page with images and simple text, but full of glitches and so hard to use when you are creating a page with columns and lots of text with different formats, sizes, and links such as a "stockist page" It acts up like crazy and changes the formatting of the lines over and over to different options that were not selected. Adding a couple stores to my page is like a 45 minute venture to get it right. Plus the text formatting box pops up right over where you are working on the page so you often can't see what you are typing and formatting until you click away. I will likely begin to shop around for a new app when I have some time to invest.

While I appreciate the feedback, I am sorry to hear you faced some issues with one of your recent pages with columns and other elements. I believe there is a better way to work on the page, assuming the page in question is the most recently published page.
