UPDATE: Based on my review, Shopify reached out and they helped ensure my old template imported correctly. When it wasn't, someone fixed the issue quickly. I appreciate Shopify and the team behind this template working to ensure I was satisfied. Thanks much!
I see no advantage in this template. In fact, I see it as one big hassle. It's designed for business to business and not a direct sale to consumers. What you see on the preview is different from how it actually prints (even when you haven't made any changes to the template). For example, the $ signs don't actually line up on the page. That's just sloppy work. It's clear that when this was launched it was not actually tested with a "real" invoice. I find this incredibly frustrating as I now have to figure out how to fix this and it's a total waste of my time. The address and store name pull from your legal store info when most sellers don't use this on receipts. How about Shopify fix these issues and test the template BEFORE actually launching this? Supposedly it's "Easy to Set Up." Hardly.

It's unfortunate that the Order Printer (now called 'Legacy') is being removed. The biggest value I saw in the existing Order Printer app was my ability to have more than 2 templates, for various purposes. I even used one template as a "work order" of sorts, showing exactly what needed to be produced for the order.
The new version only supports "Invoice" and "Packing Slip", which, by the way, a packing slip should never contain pricing details by default.
Please add additional template support to allow for shop owners to generate various printouts.
Hey, there! Thank you for reviewing Shopify Order Printer. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our app and tailor it to our merchants' needs. I understand your main concern is regarding the templates. If you weren't aware, you can actually create up to 15 templates in this app. You can refer to this help doc for guidance on creating them: https://shopify.link/35gn. We don't have readily available templates other than the invoice and packing slip, however, I'll share your interest for these to our app development team.
As for the pricing on the packing slip, I'm pleased to let you know it's been removed. Reviews like yours help us make impactful changes like this one, so we appreciate your efforts in leaving comments. If you're still seeing the prices on your end, please note you can contact our support team (https://shopify.link/WJna) for assistance and they will be happy to investigate. -Summer, Shopify Support
Works fine for me. I just needed to print a paper invoice to mail to customer's purchasing dept for them to send ACH payment. Nothing fancy, got the job done.
It's not brilliant, but it's pretty good.
I have managed to use Sidekick to amend the templates to work for us, and so far, my experience has been pretty good.
There are a few things it cannot do, but in the big picture for a free app, it's pretty good.
It will be good to have the possibilty to send the invoice to the customer directly from the app, and better to send it automatically after the order.
We can customise our invoice in HTML and be ok with locals rules (you have to be able to code it yourself indeed).
Good job. Thank you

So far, so good. I have not encountered any problems, so I can't mark it down in any way.
amazing app simple. easy to code your own receipts with sidekick. would highly recommand.
I have to know code to customize this? Ridiculous!
Not possible to bulk export all pdfs - you need to manually export every page
