I’m really impressed with Transtore. The app translated my Shopify store very well, and the translations were accurate and natural, which made the whole process much easier.
The customer support was also 10/10. They were responsive, helpful, and really took the time to make sure everything was working properly.
Overall, a great app if you’re looking to translate your Shopify store. I’m very satisfied with the experience and definitely recommend Transtore!

The tech is good but the actual translations are bad. And this is just for French, never mind other languages.

Transtore’s standard Auto Translation uses the Google Translate API. Translation quality can vary depending on the content and context, especially for product descriptions and brand-specific terminology.
If you’d like to try a different translation option, Transtore also supports AI translation with GPT and DeepSeek, which may provide more natural and context-aware results. You can select one of these options in the app’s translation settings. Please note that AI-generated translations may still require some review to ensure they match your brand’s tone and terminology.

Your AI has no idea about the Italian language; the translation it's doing automatically is almost laughable if you're a native Italian. Fix it immediately, otherwise you'll look terrible.

We would like to kindly clarify that the automatic translation currently uses the Google Translate API by default. While this solution works well for many stores and languages, machine translation may sometimes generate wording that feels unnatural or inaccurate in certain languages, particularly for localized expressions and context-sensitive content such as Italian.
That said, translation quality is something we take very seriously, and our team has continuously improved the app to provide more advanced and flexible translation options for merchants who require higher-quality localization.
For better and more natural translations, the app also supports OpenAI GPT-powered translation, which usually delivers significantly more fluent, context-aware, and human-like results compared to standard machine translation. This option is especially helpful for European languages where tone, wording, and phrasing are very important for native readers.
In addition, the app includes a Glossary feature that allows you to customize preferred wording, brand terminology, and specific phrases. This helps ensure translations remain more consistent, professional, and aligned with your brand voice across the store.
We genuinely regret that your initial experience left a negative impression of the app. However, we truly believe the translation quality can be greatly improved with the proper configuration and translation method.

I had an amazing experience with Transtore. We needed a few custom translation fixes on our slide-out cart drawer—specifically updating our main checkout button to the correct French phrasing ('Passer la commande') and syncing up the backend.
Chloe from the support team was incredibly fast, professional, and efficient. She gained collaborator access and had everything working perfectly on our end in no time. The app itself is fantastic, but the speed and quality of their customer service is what truly sets them apart. Highly recommended!
