Wishlist Hero

I installed the Wishlist Hero app just yesterday so my experience with it is limited. One thing I can say is that support is excellent. I reported a minor issue discovered in my testing and the team responded quickly and resolved the matter within a couple of business hours. Can't ask for more than that. The installation was quick and easy, even for non-technical people. Because I have a technical background, I used the basic instructions provided with the app to extend it's reach beyond the simple install. Specifically, I enabled my shoppers to add products to their wishlists from product collections pages. What I like about Wishlist Hero over other apps I researched is the flexibility it offers in terms of options for presenting "add to cart" buttons and buttons for accessing the wishlist. I'm able to place said buttons where I like so that they fit beautifully on my site and match the theme perfectly.

5 stars! First let me say, this review is 100% genuine and honest. Wishlist Hero made everything we wanted possible. We downloaded and tried 4 other wishlist apps but none of them compared. We have a very elaborate site with heavy coding and spent the past year adding/coding so many features so it's difficult to find apps to add to that. All of the others were either too hard to integrate or just didn't have the options/features that we needed. Wishlist Hero was exactly what we were looking for and it was so easy to connect. The best part about Wishlist Hero is the customer service. We had lots of requests and changes (customizations) that we needed done and they made every single one of them happen. Sameh from Wishlist Hero was the best. Very friendly and responsive. Made sure every feature we wanted was executed. If you are trying to decide which app to go with, don't look any further, Wishlist Hero is the one.

Wishlist Hero is literary my HERO! And here's why: For the longest time we were true to another quite popular wishlist app which all of a sudden forced us to upgrade the already flawless and flourishing wishlist to their newest version, which had a completely new look (very generic) and a thousand new features that were unnecessarily complicated, plus no way to customize even the most basic layout features on the back-end without emailing, raising a ticket and waiting for support. This new wishlist-version looked so out of place, like it does not belong to the website at all, it was terrifying and after four stressful nights with many attempts to reach out to support and not receiving any help regarding customization, I had no choice but to say a prayer and find a replacement wishlist app within.. ASAP. Next thing I know, the website has a great new wishlist, customers wishlists were being transferred, and everything worked out for the best. All of the help received from Wishlist Hero was immediate - they helped straight away, eventhough technically we were still on their trial version. All of the stress was gone, thanks to the reliable, understanding, and responsive tech support at Wishlist Hero! So many elements of the wishlist can be easily customized in the settings and that's a huge plus compared to the old wishlist. And I really like that the guest wishlist is share-able and does not force guest users to create accounts. I'm also glad we didn't have to waste time trying out a ton of wishlist apps before finding the HERO wishlist!

I tried over and over to contact support but no one answer and no one back to my email it's tooo annoying

I've had this app installed for a few weeks. For whatever reason the option to add to the menu or header does not work correctly. I have reached out to their support and while they have (eventually) answered, they have not resolved my issue.

Ok, I have tried many Wishlist modules before I decided to use that one. Unlike other it is affordable (the lowest plan will remove the branding) and straight forward for installation (...and I have a 'complicated' theme)

I like that the link in the menu is displaying in real time the number of items in the list (without coding anything !). The discreet pop-up message at the bottom of the screen to confirm you added a product into your list is really a great dynamic/pro feature (you can see the visual etc).

The support will also help you to integrate an icon if you need, they are very reactive and friendly. Still missing some customisation features such as the buttons' color of the 'share' pop-up but no big drama as all other main screen and features are fully customisable.
The email template of the 'share by email' is not configurable for the moment too. I am not using that feature, what was important to me was the alert email for low stock (and that one is all good). The dev and support is really good so I am sure they will 'patch' this soon.

I strongly recommend you to give a try as it will save you time and do not be lazy if you need few cusotmisation :) : send them an email and meanwhile work on something else as they will help you very quickly. There is no magic app that match at 100% of your needs or your theme (except the very basic one...but this is not what we are looking for, isn't it ? :) )... even if this one is almost perfect.

Initially, we encountered a widget issue, and the support from Yomna was quick and helpful. Based on that experience, we were asked to leave a review — which we did in good faith.

However, shortly after, another issue occurred, and we’ve reached out multiple times with no response whatsoever. It’s incredibly disappointing to see that after receiving a positive review, the support has completely disappeared.

This shows a serious lack of commitment to long-term customer care. If support is only available in exchange for good reviews, that’s not trustworthy service. Very disappointed.

Wishlist Hero has truly impressed us so far. The implementation was seamless, and the customization options are extensive. The email notifications are especially worth mentioning, as they can be personalized without any restrictions. In addition to the useful “Low Stock” and “Price Alert” features, we would love to see a wishlist reminder function added, perhaps with automatic emails after 10 and 30 days.

For integrating the wishlist buttons directly on product images, we reached out to support. Our experience with Yomna was exceptionally friendly, and the implementation was flawless on the first try—just perfect!

Overall, Wishlist Hero deserves 5 stars. The feature set at this price point, especially with integrations like Klaviyo, is unbeatable for shops in their growth phase. Keep up the great work!

We've used Wishlist Hero for many months now, and it's helped us a lot with people sending and sharing their wishlist through our store so they could get the same products at the same time. We've had many people returning after a couple hours to purchase whatever they have on their wishlist. Big thanks to Yomna! For helping us with minor inconveniences and attending our case with our trouble syncing apps, in the end all our apps work in synergy! We recommend Wishlist Hero!
