We completely understand your point about the search or filters resetting after each product update. When working through multiple products, that extra step can definitely add up.
Fortunately, there are a couple of workarounds you can use.
One option is to open products in separate browser tabs. This keeps your original filtered search results open and unchanged in the main tab, while each product opens in its own tab for optimization. Once you are done editing a product, save the changes, close that tab, and continue from your original filtered list without having to reapply the search or filters.
Another option is to go directly to Shopify Admin → Products. There, you can use Shopify’s own filters to narrow down your product list first. After filtering, you can either open multiple products in new tabs from that list or select an individual product, click on More actions, and choose Optimize Yoast SEO for Shopify. This way, you can control filtering from Shopify and avoid losing your filtered view inside the app.

So far, my experience with Yoast on the Shopify Platform has been great. I was having a few issues with Structured Data and Sid gave me a detailed explanation to help me understand the flow between Yoast and my Review App, Judge me. First of all, this is a helpful app for SEO. Second, its customer service is fast and helpful. However, sometimes this app feels outdated. It offers AI features for SEO titles, meta descriptions, social titles, and social descriptions. But, strangely for 2025, these features are limited. If you work with large catalogs, the system will block this function after while which is annoying. This needs an immediate fix. It feels like working online in 2010, not 2025.
The app also checks your product descriptions for many SEO issues you might not even consider, which is great. I wonder why this app, already using AI, cannot rewrite product titles and descriptions for best SEO practice. This would not be a huge leap. Many AI tools on the market already offer this functionality.
So, my dear Yoast Tech Team, I would be happy if you could improve your app in this way. This could truly be a game changer. It could make your app a real SEO weapon.

b) AI for Titles and Descriptions: You're absolutely right, AI Optimization and rewriting for your content is a natural next step. While this feature isn’t available yet, it is actively in development. Our goal is to deliver a solution that automates effectively while staying aligned with SEO best practices.
c) False Warnings: We understand how disruptive these can be. In most cases, false flags occur when content is added from external editors or AI tools that include hidden formatting or code, affecting the functionality of our app. This is something we identified based on the last email you sent us, so our team will be reaching out to you via email shortly with more specific details and next steps.

It's very good but be better. One problem I run into all the time is there is no search function. If I have a site with hundreds of pages I have to manually scroll through all the pages to find it. it wastes so much time. i just can't believe they didn't add a simple search function. and yes i mean pages, i realize there is a search function for products and collections, but no search function to search pages. when you build out local seo pages it's a pain to find them later
UPDATE March 27th: For clarity to anyone reading along who may not want to go through the entire original response, we’d like to confirm that the search option for Pages mentioned is not an oversight from our app, but rather a limitation within Shopify's API. Our development team is actively monitoring this, and we will implement the feature as soon as Shopify adds support for it in their API.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not currently available due to limitations in Shopify's API. As our app relies on Shopify's API, we are only able to provide the features that the API supports. At this time, the search option for Pages is not included, which is why our app offers it for Products and Collections instead.
