Been using this app for 6 months. Its extremely poor quality. I had issues with weights not being imported I reached out to support. It took them 5 days to respond only be to sent a generic "read our guides" I have over 500 variants/products and they told me I need to import them via spread sheet. Bare in mind it automatically imported them all the first time I connected.
Everything is old and slow. If you get a lot of orders or need to sort an order fast good luck orders take 5-10 minutes to actually transfer into the click and drop app so you can't do anything until then.
The support is abysmal in general when it comes to royal mail their tracking page barley even works.
If an item gets lost you have to wait 10 days to even request a refund then up to 30 further days to get your money back. To keep your customer happy you have to just re-send it out and pray they refund you the loss in shipping and items.
If you book collections they constantly miss and don't show up which forces you to find a delivery office.
The only good thing about royal mail is they are cheap and reasonably reliable when it comes to delivering on time the drivers aren't thick and won't put it in a bin on bin day or leave it exposed for anyone to steal.
If you're running a high pressure business with customers who need things ASAP with little to no room for mistake use another shipping service. If you are running a more relax side hustle with a few orders a week sure royal mail is a good choice.
Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear that you have been having issues using Click & Drop around imported products and weights.
For Shopify, as detailed in our help guides, if an order imports from Shopify with a SKU value that does not already have a matching product in Click & Drop, we will automatically create one when the order is marked as despatched.
We will not automatically use order weights imported from Shopify the first time a SKU is imported. This is so you can check the weight of the package is correct.
Could this be related to your issue?
You imported around 750 products/variants on Friday using spreadsheet import, but it looks like these have all subsequently been deleted, so did you have a problem with this process?
Regards,
The Click & Drop Team.
I've been using this app with Click & Drop for over 4 months now, and I think it's excellent. I read all the documentation carefully, and so had no issues. It does everything you need it to, and it gives you very good insurance levels for shipments.
The only thing it does not seem to do, is update the order "status" in Shopify beyond "Tracking added". eg: It does not update the status to "Delivered". This is technically possible, as when I use FedEx via Parcel2Go (very similar to Click & Drop), then the order status is updated all the way to "Delivered". Would be good to know that this feature is coming in the future.
Thank you for your review and it is really great to hear that Click & Drop and the app integration is proving so useful to your business!
We will ask the our development team to investigate the Shopify order status 'Delivered' update scenario you mention, to see what is possible and if feasible we will add it to the roadmap.
Once again thanks for the positive feedback.
Regards,
The Click & Drop team
Works as it should. Shame it doesn't pull through customs data from product variants (it looks like you can add SKUs directly in to Click and Drop but then we're duplicating data which we always try and avoid).
It is great that you are finding the app integration beneficial.
You are using the correct process currently for managing customs data for Click & Drop, but we do have plans to get more data from our ecommerce integrations when the right information is available.
Thanks for taking the time to review the Click & Drop Shopify integration
Order history over 1 weeks dont sync up, and no button to prompt later history. Try to reach out, but terrible customer service.

Let me respond to your review reply.
You stated:
"As mentioned in our guide, we do not import orders older than 7 days, which generally should not be a problem."
My response:
The emphasis on "generally" is misleading. Many sellers, including those with pre-orders or other specific needs, would benefit from importing orders older than 7 days. To make matters worse, third-party software allows access to order histories beyond 7 days, proving that it’s possible—yet you choose not to offer this feature.
Click and Drop could do much better, as reflected in the numerous 1-star reviews.
And I won’t even begin to address the issue of deleting information after 13 months…
Thank you for your review, and we are sorry to hear that Click & Drop does not support your specific use case.
Information relating to your Shopify Click & Drop integration can be found in our Shopify Help guide at:-

As is stated in this guide we do not import orders older than 7 days old, which should not be a problem generally as your store will be permanently connected to Click & Drop via the integration and will automatically import your new store orders into Click & Drop within 15 - 30 mins of them meeting the order status criteria detailed in the Help guide.

Installed this four years ago and at first it worked OK - about a 20 minute delay for a new order in Shopify to become visible in the app, but it has got progressively worse. Now it can take a few hours to days for a new order to come across from Shopify. Utterly useless app - you will find yourself creating manual orders rather than waiting ad infinitum.

Great app with my Shopify store, it's saving loads of time. I do have to keep clearing filters and had to wade through the help to get the tracking numbers put back into Shopify but once you've got the hang of it it's great
I think this worked the very first time I used it but since then it doesn't update Shopify on anything so is completely useless. Back to entering everything manually. I need to look in to other shipping options I guess like DPD or EVRI etc.

Works really well for me. All orders are imported and sends the tracking back to shopify. There's a settings to Mark as Dispatched when you create the label and another to export the tracking number at the same time.
Very occasionally you have to re-link the app on the Click & Drop website, maybe when there's been API changes? It's easy to update but also quite easy to end up duplicating the integration - this is how you get duplicate orders. Just delete the second integration to resolve.
Quietly works in the background without any involvement needed 99% of the time. Excellent.
Perfect for small businesses in the UK - with a few caveats. I've been using this app since my store launched and it's made the process of handling shipping hassle free.
With that being said, there are a few pain points:
- DO NOT visit the app in Shopify after installation. It just takes you to create a new "integration" in RM. Do it once and then train your muscle memory to never click the app within Shopify ever again.
- Order fulfilment comes from RM, not Shopify. Would prefer a native integration in to Shopify, but this works fine.
- When using Marketplace Connect, the multi-channel orders are created in a strange address format. The only way to mitigate this is to remove it in RM, which is fine. Issue with MP Connect, but could be handled at ingest by RM.
- It takes some setting up to work with native 4x6in label printers, by default it prints A4. Go to your RM settings and ensure you have only ticked "print label" and "4x6in" (can't remember exact settings) and everything will work flawlessly.
There are separate complaints I have with RM C&D as a platform, however it's perfectly capable and when used properly works flawlessly.
As others have said, this app is completely dysfunctional. Wasted time applying for a RM account to be confronted with this once I tried to use them. I'll stick with the integrated evri and DPD
