Merchants describe this as a simple, no-frills tool that’s very easy to install and use, often with a single download button. It reliably bulk-downloads all store files into ZIP archives, automatically splitting large libraries. Many use it for quick backups before cleanups, migrations, or expansion stores, noting it handles thousands of images in minutes. The free plan is frequently praised as generous and time-saving.

Very good, I haven't had any problems with Filey. Added it to another store with < 1000 products and it downloaded all the product files and the store files all at once.
Wow! I never knew downloading 5000 images could be so quick and easy in shopify. What has taken hours in the past took minutes.
Simple and quick. Downloaded it and had files backed up in under 4 minutes. I need 100 characters in this review.
whoa. This apps just saved me at least 100 hours of individually downloading photos for a new site. Get this app. Wow!
It was super easy to install the app and download files. I was looking for an app which helps me with downloading all files in one go.
So far so good! I've been using Filey to backup my store files. It's been easy to use and as far as I can tell, doesn't impact my store speed much.
Thank you for your kind reply!
We can say even more: Filey doesn't affect your store speed at all (because of no interactions with the storefront)
This app did exactly what we needed it too! Fast, easy, reliable... and FREE! We found the app through a question thread and it was a great recommendation!
This app is genius. Shopify refuses to employ this functionality, but Filey knocks it out of the park. I easily exported all files (photos, videos, product assets, etc.) to a zipped folder in one click. Thank you, Filey!!
You are a hero. Thank you for making this app. Finally was able to download all the images I needed from my site.
Super easy to use and Thanks so much for keeping it free! Super easy to use and Thanks so much for keeping it free!
