Merchants say this app is highly useful for launching and growing stores. It’s described as easy to install, with quick, reliable syncing to Google Merchant Center, Ads, Analytics, and YouTube—even for large catalogs. Many highlight time saved on feed management and ad setup, better visibility and organic traffic, and clearer performance tracking. Some report strong results when pairing it with Google AI and Shopify Sidekick.

I'm extremely pleased with the app; it delivers exactly what it promises. I have been using it for a year now and have encountered only one minor glitch. Other than that, I'm very happy :)
Used this plugin to connect to google ads as well as GA4 but, but the ADS conversion data is not captured at all!
Thank you for leaving a review. While we are happy you were able to connect we are sorry to hear that Ads conversion tracking is not working as you expected. We have a support team standing by to assist. Can you please reach out to them here so we can better assist you: https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/shopify_3p_support_app
I will update this review to 5-stars if and when a representative from Google and/or Shopify provides a satisfactory explanation for why my tax settings to change from "No sales tax specified for any U.S. states" to "Sales tax specifiied for all U.S. states". Sales tax should be automatically or manually synced like Shipping settings. This bug has been present in the app for years and should be fixed asap.
Wrong! Google displays estimated sales tax in all cases, including when the merchant does not collect sales tax on some or all states. Again, the app shoudl follow the store's tax settings.
Hello an thank you for leaving the feedback regarding how tax settings are applied with the Shopify and Google integration. This is actually by design to prevent policy violations of merchants showing a higher price on their site versus Google.
A workaround that you can apply that should solve your issue is to apply tax settings directly in Google Merchant Center. After your initial linking of accounts between Shopify and Google, we will not overwrite your tax settings applied in Merchant Center. You can learn more about updating your tax settings in Merchant Center here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160162

Customer care is virtually non-existent, as they merely direct customers to read through policies, terms & conditions, and other documentation to resolve issues independently. Responses are often vague, lacking specific reasons for account suspensions.
Hello and thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear that you have been frustrated with your experience so far. We monitor this feedback closely and will be sure to share yours with our policy and support teams.
In most cases, merchants have the ability to request a re-review if they disagree with policy enforcement. You can find more about the policy and how to request a review here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150127
We hope this helps and thank you again for the valuable feedback.
You can't submit to more than 1 country which makes this app ineligible for a Canadian Store selling into the U.S market in addition to Canada. Kind of disappointing. Will have to use an alternative until this feature comes out.
Hi there and thanks for the feedback! While we ask for an initial country during onboarding, you are able to add additional countries once you link your shop to a Merchant Center ID by adding Target Countries in your Merchant Center Product feed. Additionally, we are making improvements to do this automatically in the near future, so stay tuned!

I love this extension, makes it really easy to not only publish feeds but also setup conversions out of the box. After upgrading to Shopify Checkout Extensibility, I've encountered issues with Google Ads purchase conversion tracking not functioning correctly. Does this extension maintain compatibility with Shopify Checkout Extensibility?
Nice app and does what it says it should do. Coming from other experiences it's very nice.
However, how is there no sort or filter for managing products to edit them? It's just an infinite scroll? Who thought this up?
I have 1600+ SKUS and to make edits on an infinite scroll page is absolutely mind meltingly tedious work.
Please fix and I would happily give 5 stars.
I can only assume the issue comes from here:
gtag (Google Tag Manager) is the biggest third party offender in terms of blocking execution (taking about half a second) as reported by PageSpeed.
I downloaded the theme to be sure and there's no reference in code.
We have no Custom Pixels.
We only set it up through the "Google & Youtube" Sales Channel.
Works well, just something to remember is that obtaining Product status is not immediate, with me approx. 48hrs from initial connection to completion - Don't worry it will happen. Diagnosis of product issues could be clearer
I have the 'Google and YouTube' app installed and it is linked to my GA4 analytics account. It works great.
I have a problem though. I am importing conversions from GA4 into Google Ads. That works well. But I cannot seem to be able to implement 'enhanced conversions' in Google Ads.
All the information on enhanced conversions says to install either GTM or Google ADS TAG. Evidently I should not have both the 'Google and You Tube' app GA4 AND GTM set up on the same site.
But I don't want to uninstall the 'Google and YouTube' app.
How can I implement enhanced conversions?
