MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

MIDA has blocked ~660 suspicious visitors in 30 days and cleaned up a lot of bot traffic from our analytics, with good support from the team when we had setup questions. Works well for filtering storefront bot traffic.

We recently installed MIDA on our store, and although it's still early, I’m quite pleased with its performance so far. After reviewing the analytics, I can see that suspicious IP addresses are being blocked effectively. We've been dealing with a significant amount of bot traffic, so we needed a solution to help mitigate the problem.
One feature that impressed me was the ability to add a specific name to a checkout rule and have it blocked instantly. That process worked seamlessly.
I plan to give it a few more days to fully evaluate its effectiveness, but so far, for the first time in a while, I’m genuinely optimistic about the results.

This app is easy to set up and monitor. I had a lot of bot traffic happening from Latin American and Asia where I do not sell. This was distorting my analytics. Now it is completely stopping this traffic from the site. Highly recommend!

Great app, very easy to set up and actually useful. The bot detection helped us identify and reduce a wave of suspicious automated traffic without having to block entire countries or networks. Support was also very responsive. Definitely worth having for extra visibility and protection on Shopify.

This is a very useful app. It solved my bot problem and helps protect my website from fraudulent activity. The customer service was also excellent and very helpful. Easy to setup and easy to create rules for blocking not just bots, but also IPs, countries, and more. Lots of great features. Would highly recommend.

One of what appears to be many hundreds of Shopify Stores being bombarded by card testing bots. The install was easy; I needed a little guidance and spoke to Annette, who was very helpful and managed to get the App up and running to start blocking bots. I have been using MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker and like what I am getting. I can see where visitors are coming from, how long they spend onsite, and who is getting blocked. It also shows me who is using a vpn, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but could be an indicator of someone hiding their true location. I started with MIDA because we had a spate of what looked like bots visiting the site placing unusual orders. That has not repeated, but I think this is a tool to help out. Last, but not least, the people on the other end of the chat line are extremely helpful. My entire experience with this app and the support have been over the top.

Good app with useful features and a simple setup. It works well for monitoring traffic and blocking unwanted visitors without making things complicated. The dashboard is easy to use, and overall the app has been reliable for our store.

This app has been helping out tremendously. We had an issue with someone performing some credit card testing (fraud) repeatedly over the past few weeks. Installed Mida to set up some checkout protection automation and have fallen in love with this app and the support we've gotten from the entire support team!
