Searchanise Search & Filter

Huge usability boost, love the app and the configurability. The support team also jumped in to update a small piece of code for us to make the app work better on our site.

This is a great search app. Photos are are nice and large, with a lot of flexibility on how to display the drop down search results. Best of all, you can incorporate reviews! Used swiftype before this, and searchanise is so much better.

App has broken on our live website, very slow response time via email. No live chat service. Very disappointed, as the app had been performing really well.

No live support and huge loss in revenue from our website not showing any products

This is a great app that does almost everything that we need it to do. And the price is highly competitive. Install was seamless and simple. Support is responsive for the most part. I would have given the 5th star if they provided a few seemingly small features.

This app goes beyond smart search. Its upsell and cross sell has helped my business grow. I'm so excited to offer more to my customers!

Also, the customer service from their team is prompt and amazing! They are such a great help to meet the needs of my store.

You definitely need this app!

I like this app, it looks nice and works well. Sergey from the support team helped with with some initial hiccups by changing some things in the code. Service was fast and helpful.
Note: it is quite complicated to set up, as there are a ton of settings you need to set up... but be patient or ask the app producers for help, and in the end you will be happy!

Having only just uploaded the search app, I can't comment as to whether conversion has increased. But from the word go I have been more than impressed with this app. It only took a few minutes to install and set up (unlike other search tools we have used, which clashed with our site). Having tested the app, I can confidently say that it works perfectly and enhances user experience. Thanks

We have had very good experiences with Searchanise. After installing the app, of course, we had to add some CSS to override the app styles and to get closer to the design, but all the rest was configurable in the app, and everything was very clear there.
App limitations are standard (e.g. the application is unable to display product-badges in search results).
To sum up, for search apps that are usually hard to work with, Searchanise was really good.
In addition, the app has great support, which responded quickly and willingly extended the trial period in the development store.

It's still a nice alternative to improve the abysmal default search of Shopify at a great price. But how they handle plans are... not good. Not good at all. This is the second time we've been prevented from using the app because we need to change plans. The last time, we had added a few more products and gone over the limit - fair. But we had paid yearly in the past on a lower plan, and had to keep paying yearly and whatnot. This time around, we had to upgrade our plan after getting Plus. And it seems to only be annual options available, which sucks since we are now planning to leave Searchanise in favor of more customizeable and accurate alternatives. Searchanise has started to slow our site a bit, search results can be weird, and the look and feel doesn't feel native to our store at all, even with CSS. We now need a faster option with more customizeability, and I refuse to upgrade to a more expensive plan on an annual basis to be able to export our data and settings. New Conclusion: A nice and affordable upgrade to the default Search of Shopify with some nice advanced functionality at the given price point, but not for enterprises. Search and navigation are some of the most important aspects of an ecommerce store, and is worth paying for. *Old review below*
Exceptional app. Probably one of my favorite apps in Shopify so far. Very versatile, works right off the bat, easy to customize, and works and looks great. Bonus for great stats too! I had a quick question when tinkering with it in the weekend, and the support team quickly helped me sort things out. There's no secret the default search in Shopify sucks, and this app takes it right to the opposite and makes it amazing instead. A must-have app for any serious webshop with a fair share of products. Only potential drawback I would say, is that I cannot access the html to make the product view look and feel completely like the rest of our store.

We just can say that this app (I prefere to call it a platform) is just brilliant. It helped us to optimize our store in so many areas and we were able to replace or cover the functionality of several other apps.

I would give it 10 Stars if possible!!

And the customer support is highly excellent. The are responding on the same day sometimes even immediately and on weekends. They really helped to answer questions quickly, but more important to help us to really customize everything towards our requirements. Thanks to Alexey here but also to the developers taking action in the background.

Smart search is really smart in many ways. First it comes with auto completion, error correction and suggestions that really work. And they are highly contolabe and can be customized. This is supported by really great anakysis tools. The search widget is also very nize looking and highly customizable (also using custom CSS).

But then it comes: You can also setup a filter with many product options, like product type, vendor, all variants and many more. No need to tag youre products, it does it automatically and again is highly customizable (including color swatches).

The result pages again look already great and can again be customized. But not even this. You can also use Searchanize to replace the collection pages. Due to the capabilities to again customize the look and feel to youre brand I'm now completely independent from how the different themes are doing this.

And then Searchanise also provides cross & up-sell widgets where you can decide where you want them to appear (including best sellers or customers also bought).

Also the product results are actually sensitve to the behavior of a customer and how she/he is navigating through yor store. So customers very likely see/find what they are interested in (at least this is our experience).

Thanks to the Searchanise team for doing an amazing job and I'm curious about their next steps!

I would like to extend my review: After using the App (platform) now for over half a year I can just confirm what I have written and we are still more then happy and amazed about the possibilities and quality.

Now I want to extend the review to also emphasize the fantastic support the team of Serachanise is providing. We had many requests in order to customize the look and feel but also request to get additional functionality and content (which required coding from Searchanise's development team).

The support team always answered within few hours either providing solutions immediately or trying hard to get more complex requests done as soon as possible. Even for the more complex development tasks we received a solution generally between 1-3 days - which is just amzing!

And I want to highlight that this was always done in a very friendly way always showing me that they are really willing and happy to help their customers. So a very special thanks to the support and development team (and to you Alexey!!!) for your great help and efforts.

Again I would give 10 Stars for the support and development team.
