Searchanise Search & Filter

The app itself is solid, but they've changed their pricing twice recently which took our site functionality down until we figured out that we had to re-sign up for a new plan. If we'd been notified so we could have been proactive that would have been great, instead we had to find out the expensive way, when your Shopify site was no longer working properly. Moreover, the first time this happened, there was a bug which wouldn't let us accept new pricing. In short, we like the app, but the management of it and the service of it had a very bad impact on our business.

AMAZING APP! To be 100% honest, I installed & re-installed the app a couple of times at first. Each time I installed it, I attempted to use it but didn't really have the time to learn it. Finally when every search on google kept pointing me back to this app to use for the things I wanted to use it for.... (smart search, programmable search, and side navigation filtering).... It just always came back to this app so I installed it and dedicated time to finally figuring out how to configure it and use it. When I say dedicated time.... I think it was all of 7 minutes lol. and then I was able to keep tweaking it to how I like it. It's an awesome app.... the search works EXACTLY how I want it too, the side bar filtering is 100% customizable.... (I didn't use any defaults, made/titled all my own collections to reflect.... "Shop by Brand", Shop by Collection" Shop by Size, Shop by Wheels... etc.... (I sell Luggage) Great flexibility.... Highly recommend.

is not working properly with my pages. when i click on the brushes tab for example, it doesn't show me just brushes. It shows me all of my products in general...fix this

Searchanise has been a great addition to our Shopify store. The search and filter features work smoothly and are easy to customize. The support team is quick to respond and always helpful. Overall, a very good app that improves the customer experience.

With over 1,000 products in our store, Shopify’s built-in search engine often fails to deliver accurate results based on keywords. This app, however, solves that problem effectively. Although online chat to support is not available, the email response was very prompt and the attitude was excellent. I truly appreciate the assistance from Dan E.

The predictive search would still need some progress with Japanese but it's the case with all the app and Searchanise is the best one we tested.

App Functionality and Design:

Support Team:
The support team has been incredibly helpful throughout our integration process and subsequent troubleshooting. While the resolution of some issues took longer than expected, the team was always responsive and provided effective solutions to our problems. They assisted us with several challenges, including cart drawer integration and adjusting the display of our search icons. They also promptly corrected the currency display in our side cart drawer, switching it from dollars to euros as needed.

Overall, we are satisfied with the service and the functionality of the app. The support team’s dedication to resolving our issues, despite not always being the fastest, has been greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Searchanise for its versatility, performance, and user-friendly design.

They caused a Massive Bug: a few months back due to this filter where it made almost all my products not available to even view - my site was empty for nearly 24 hrs, I had my team staying late, I stayed until after midnight, no one could solve it, **Searchanise support was not existing, I raised tickets and no one answered, for an app like that to have no urgency / emergency escalation - shame on you, I wanted to show it to all that may consider - if something goes wrong they are not there for you, there's no emergency resolution.
*I ended up going on upwork offering $300 to a programer that can solve it, he did it in 15 min... and I had to disconnect the app, in total it was a damage of thousands of dollars, and loss of sales too, their response was called, no accountability, and then offering something funny like $100 compensation - what a Joke, honestly this is not a mad review, this is a real thing that happen, so just consider that before going for it, (if you have your own in house programmer maybe it's ok if he can jump on a bug - bottom line don't leave your site exposed to them, they are not responsible with your assets).

Super Great. Support was amazing and fulfilling with our business custom needs both technically and visually. Overall it made our integration process so much easier and smooth.

Would recommend them again and again.

Application itself is made simple to understand, does all the basics as it should. Also found some great add-on functionalities within the tool such as AI, merchandise Promo, analytics and reports.
