I've been using this for 2 months, so I can give an extensive opinion.
You Should NOT install this app if you're just starting out with dropshipping or if even if you have been dropshipping for a while and I will extensively explain why...

Let me start off with the positives:
//Customer Service//
Spocket's customer service is top of the line! My questions were answered within 12 hours, sometimes even 1 hour! The explanation is concise, straight to the point and easy to understand.

//The User Interface//
Easy to browse products and sort based on specifications.

Now that that's out of the way (yes only 2 positives), let us talk about the negative in chronological order.

//The Pricing//
The $12/month starter plan is probably the best value. Anything else is a rip off if you only get 1-10 orders per day.

//The User Interface//
You can't edit the products in the app after you've imported them, which is fine. But if you touch any variation, THE WHOLE PRODUCT STOPS WORKING!
Then if you try to resync the product you'll soon discover that that's not even possible! You have to delete the product on your shopify store and then re-download via the app. If there's a variant that you don't want, YOU CAN'T DELETE IT.

You also cannot edit any order in the app. Product editing and Order editing are two basic functionalities in any other products-app, how can you not even get that right?!

//The Sellers//
There are multiple points here so I'll split it into subtitles.
--Anonimity--
This is very shady: All sellers get a pseudonym from Spocket so you can't find them online and try to cut a deal out of the app. Names like "Orange Eunostous", "Orange Pine" and "Orange Charlie" can't be real business names. I can understand the anonimity though. What I don't understand is that YOU CANNOT CONTACT ANY SELLER DIRECTLY VIA THE APP!!! You'll always have to contact the Spocket customer service for an answer from your seller. Took me a week to negotiate an international shipping fee down from $21(ridiculously high) to $15 , more on that later.

--The quality and consistency of sellers--
There is such a HUGE difference in quality between the sellers. 1 Seller will process your order in 1 day and another will take 7 days. 1 Seller will charge you $5 for shipping and another $20. YOU'LL DEFINITELY LOSE MONEY IF YOU DON'T CHARGE $15 SHIPPING ON YOUR OWN STORE. Spocket should hold it's sellers to a higher standard!
The only thing you need to become a seller, is prove that you have your own stock and that your products are unique. Let me tell you someting: Atleast 50% of the products can be found on Aliexpress for half the price!

--The Products--
Spocket constantly tries to push you to buy their Pro subscription for $99/month to get access to "premium" products. The products are not premium at all. Printed masks and aliexpress products are premium? haha, give me a break. NOT WORTH $49 or $99/month. You can find most of the products on Aliexpress or just your local printing shop for half the price. Most of the sellers are just a middelman that make money by selling to you, so only cutting into your profits. Don't fall for this.

--The shipping--
As I stated before, there's no consistency with the shipping time: An order can take 1 day to process and 3 days to ship, while another can take 1 month in total! Just recently, an order took 20 days to get shipped out and they only notified me after 14 days!! WHAT?!
At times it was literally FASTER to find the product on Aliexpress, place the order and get it delivered to your customer.

//What should (new) dropshippers do?//
If I were you, I'd look for sourcing dropshipping plugins that have a centralized stock. You're not Amazon, so don't put your trust into hundreds of sellers that you can't do a background check on for yourself to carry your brand. There are thousands of sourcers on like Alibaba or anywhere on the web that will gladly support your dropshipping business idea with no money down and a flexible growth formula. (I won't mention a specific company, because that would make this a dishonest review in my eyes) Don't get fooled and find something else!

STAY AWAY
My nightmare with Spocket began 6 months ago. I liked the idea to have a subscription with spocket because It was a good option to add more products to my existing online store, that has been in the market for many years with a policy of same day shipping and great reputation, until spocket showed up. What a nightmare.

The first problem that I had and kept having during my subscription, was the delay in shipments, the suppliers take more than what they say, which caused me a lot of chargeback fees and a lot of bad reviews. I still, after requesting the cancelation of the subscription, have 2 pending orders, one of those has a delay of more than 1 and a half month and the other more than 1 week delay, and this has happened many times.
The second mayor issue happened when Spocket sent me, after 20 days without shipping an order, an email saying that I had to pay extra $70 dollars to ship the product, because the supplier was saying that. And Im talking about a little fanny bag. When I complained, first they cancelled the order without my consent, and then I complained for that and they told me, that if I wanted to reopen the order and ship it, I had to pay extra $70 dollars. After many chats with ramdom customer service people, finally, they reopened the order and ship it.

The third problem and maybe the worst. One of its suppliers, that I picked to sell more than 100 products in my marketplace, is a complete scam. I had to refund and received returns of a lot orders because the photos of the products does not correspond in quality and design with the products delivered. After checking out everything I discovered that the photos of the swimshorts are renders made on a computer and are not photos of real products. (all this was shared on time with customer service, that is more like a psychologist who listen you but does not solve anything).

I even requested refunds in some of the issues that I had and I refunded the customers, but the answer from customer service was always in circles, and always saying that they were going to send my request to financial, but never ever financial contacted me, and of course, never received a refund.
My nightmare was almost every week, I got a lot of bad reputation and I never reported spocket or had a bad review, Because as a business owner I know how horrible is a bad review, and I never leave bad reviews. But after the last 1 month delay and a horrible review from a customer to my business I took the decision to tell my experience with a 1 star review. Immediately as magic somebody contacted me and offered me 3 free months to delete the message. Clearly I felt offended for the offer, I was not requesting to continue the subscription I was just cancelling this nightmare. But then they offered me refund me the value of 3 subscriptions to delete the comment. And my question was, but who is going to delete the comments of my customers on my social media?, this is insulting.
But after a lot of time expressing my disappointment with this company I gave up, and I accepted to delete the comment if they cancel my subscription and refund me the value of 5 monthly $49 subscription. That was not going to repair all the damage this company made to my business, at least they were going to cancel my subscription.
They waited on the phone to confirm that I deleted the comment, and after I did it, they confirmed me that they were going to refund me the value of 5 monthly subscriptions.
Ok, the nightmare continued when I walked up in the morning and they refunded 4 times $19 dollars, but not only that, they were saying that refunded to expired credit cards. So they do not only bribed me, waited for me to do my part of the agreement, but also they did not comply with their part of the agreement.
I dont know how this company is still in the market, and by the way guys, NOBODY is going to be rich or have a decent income, selling overpriced products, that are not shipped, that the photos are not the same as the delivered products, the customer service does not work at all, and do not maintain their word and any other marketplace sells the same products for less money.

This is my experience, and has been a nightmare since week 1. And it keeps going and going, because, they made me delete my review, they have not delivered the delayed products from open orders, but also they sent the supposed refund (to delete the comment) for less than half of what they promised to an expired credit card.
Never again Spocket.

By the Way, the following is the last message the person from financial sent me today, how charm:
"Ok thank you Andres. We do have sufficient evidence that we have provided you a full refund via Stripe. So we have maintained our end of the agreement, and we were, in fact, offering to go above and beyond. We will now engage our legal team as well if you feel that is the best course of action." Kaylee

To be clear, I have explained many times that they are "refunding" the money, which is not the amount we agreed, to EXPIRED CREDIT CARDS, that no money is going to enter my account, but they keep saying the lie, because their interest is the DELETE THE COMMENT.

I don't want to have business with a company that is damaging my reputation, but also is charging to damage my reputation, but also every time one of my customers place an order I can not sleep because I dont know if they are going to ship the order on time, or if I have to pay extra to ship it, or if the product has poor quality, does not look like the photos, or any other problem. A nightmare in progress!!!

To be clear I was bribed to delete a comment, and they never pay their part of the agreement. The never pay me any compensation for the reputational damages to my business. I have a check with the amount they told me sent, I need to know the address to send it now.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I signed up for yearly, but after I contacted them days after signing up to cancel because it didn't fit the right products for my store than I originally thought, they refused to give a refund of the $900 I was charged. How is this fair? I had to cancel and take the entire loss. BE WARNED. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR YEARLY.

Update 2: I am lowering to 1 star after sale experience
Update 1: I am updating my review lower for these reasons

A sale of a product that was listed as shipping from Canada was actually shipped from China and never reached the customer. The first issue is that if the source was correctly specified, we could have kept the customer informed of the timelines. Second issue is that there was a chargeback because the customer did not receive the product, which happens once in a while for China shipments. Spocket team was not able to do anything or refund the product cost. So we lost both ways, one to the customer for non receipt chargeback, and also the payment to Spocket. Since they have no ownership, and we cant talk to the product seller directly to resolve issues, it takes forever and this app is a waste of time and money. Just use Oberlo or other China product interfaces.

1. Depth of product offerings are low for my industry. However it may be good for other shops so no harm in trying out
2. The margins appear good, but if you do a deep search you will find that many products are available at lower retail than suggested. It may be good to start with, but eventually you will be tempted to move out of the app and build your own relationships with wholesale companies just to be competitive in the market, let alone save the monthly cost - always look at annual outflow of an app cost even if it looks fine on monthly basis.
3. Proves review counts and ratings do not paint the true picture. In this case you get a free month if you give a 5 star rating, so most people who install will give a 5 star rating in the first few days itself to get the free month, which leads to a ton of reviews done by people who have not experimented with the app, products and prices.
4. Having said that the app itself works fine, if they can sign up more wholesalers, avoid double dipping and reduce their margin on the products and rely on the monthly fee they may become competitive

I will be removing this app.

Just installed. First look seems fine. Tried importing 1 product and it went though easily. Let me test how it works and depth of product offerings before leaving a better review.

This app opens up opportunities. The support staff is very responsive. I had several concerns when starting to use the app and they were addressed right away. It's important to reach out to Etsy sellers first I believe before you start dropshipping their stuff but this is a really great way to connect and fulfill orders. Thanks Socket team!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Spocket. After one year of using their service and paying $948 for an annual subscription (12/2023 to 12/2024), I only managed to sell 3 products, as all other orders were either canceled or undeliverable.

Throughout the entire period, there were frequent synchronization issues that caused numerous problems. Despite these recurring issues, I communicated politely and attempted to resolve matters fairly and openly.

While the Spocket support team responded quickly, they often could only mediate. Suppliers were frequently unreachable, and there were long wait times. Delivery times were often not met, or products were canceled afterward.

When I wanted to cancel due to these difficulties, I was offered a 3-month free plan. However, this could only be activated if I switched from PayPal to a credit card. After providing my credit card details, I was promised an additional three-month free extension, and the subscription was supposed to continue afterward. Instead, at the end of the contract period, I was charged another annual fee of $948.

The promise of an anytime downgrade option is also misleading, as this only occurs with an additional payment and is credited to the existing plan. Moreover, canceling the plan results in immediate loss of access, despite having paid, and all communication via chat is cut off.
After 4 to 5 back-and-forth emails with a senior customer service representative, I was offered a 50% refund of the $948 Unicorn Plan, which I find outrageous and unacceptable. If the service had been perfect, I would have only needed a Pro Plan for $288, as only 30 premium products were relevant to me.

During my time using Spocket, there were a total of 10 orders, only one of which was fulfilled. The products and service provided by Spocket are not competitive in the European market.
Additionally, it became apparent over time that about 80% of the products come from BigBuy and are merely sub-products on the European market.

To date, there has been no solution, and all communication with the support team via chat is now blocked. Communication is now only possible with senior managers, and since Spocket is based in Vancouver, Canada, there is a significant time difference.
Beware and stay away from Spocket.

In light of this negative experience, I cannot recommend Spocket at all.

My experience with Spocket has been nothing short of infuriating. After canceling my subscription, they lured me into accepting a "free trial month" with the promise that my account would be automatically canceled afterward unless I chose to continue. Despite this clear agreement, they went ahead and charged me about €93 on October 19th for a service I didn’t want or use.

Their customer support has been completely unresponsive, providing no solutions or explanations. I have already filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and am actively working to spread awareness of this issue. On Trustpilot, I’ve seen many other users with the same problem, yet Spocket continues to ignore them. To make matters worse, many of their positive reviews seem fake, likely written by bots or artificial intelligence, as those accounts have only reviewed Spocket and nothing else.

If you’re considering using Spocket, beware. Their billing practices are dishonest, and their customer support is practically non-existent. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

UPDATE: NOVEMBER 17, 2024.

Right now I have received another charge of about EUR 96. I will be forwarding a complaint to my bank by tomorrow to get back all the money that Spocket is taking away from me illegally.

Complaint to Shopify about Spocket

I installed Spocket on August 19th and uninstalled it on September 2nd, which complies with their promised 14-day free trial period. However, on September 4th, I received a notification of a $59.99 USD deduction from PayPal. Despite writing to the customer service department for inquiries, I did not receive any response. This is a stark contrast to the frequent emails they sent to persuade me to install the software initially. There is no record of the deduction in the Shopify backend, indicating that they bypassed Shopify's regulations and deducted the amount privately. Therefore, I conclude that this is a very unethical company.
