Variant Option Product Options

The Best Custom Product App has been such an awesome custom build tool for our Shopify store. We have several custom products that require quite a bit of detailed information from the customer to make sure the product is dialed in to their exact specifications. The Best Custom Product App did exactly what we needed it to do and it was so easy to use. Along the way, Jon provided impeccable customer service and was so incredibly supportive and helpful. Brilliant app! So many options - Only app that i found that could change the style of the Shopify Variants
Options can be set up on a product by product basis with an easy way of copying to other products if needed.
Support has been exceptional! Really great and help you whenever its needed! Our favourite feature is Auto image swatches (for our colour variants) - where the image swatch selection automatically changes the main shopify product image with each time you select a different colour. We set the colours in main shopify variant and used this app to alter it and create auto image swatches!

Just went live with our restaurant and ran into the issue where orders came in without price add-ons. 2 out of the first 8 orders randomly did not charge for the add on items. The add on item added to the order (text) and displayed to the customer, however did not actually charge. Going to have to scrap this app and hundreds of hours of time creating our variants for hundreds of food items. Very disappointed and have been paying for this app during development. No testing yielded this, and we are using the app in the most off-the-shelf intention. Reading other reviews this has been a known issue since June 2020.

What I like about the app is basically the design of all the options you can choose, it just looks nice. The price is quite fair for what the app accomplishes. What I hate about it is the fact that you need an additional addon to be able to enable discount codes. Also that you need to dublicate all products for a modification insteat of simply applying the settings to a collection and getting a good overview.
Also that it's not linked to actuall products like bold does, it completely kills simple product cost calculation this way.
Also that you can not use Javascript within the options to target the products directly and keep everything close together.

does not allow variants to send digital files. The developers offer no assistance. Take it as it is or leave it.

UPDATE: no app like Variant Option Product Options that I could find allows digital downloads. I found a workaround after spending 2 weeks and figured out that I could use shopify's variants for the digital downloads, then use Variant Option Product Options for the remainders. The pricing ads up correctly. so i did reinstal the app and it is working

I wish they could have told me about a workaround instead of me spending 30 hours of my time figuring out a workaround. they should give me free lifetime subscription for helping them resolve their problem.

This is an awesome app and the support I have gotten from Martin and Jon has been fantastic. I have used the Variant Option app for the last 2 years on two different websites. I spent a lot of time researching and testing several different apps and none of the other apps would allow me to accomplish what I needed. The Variant Option app has been exactly what we needed to sell multiple varaints of a single product. The app is very easy to use and it is a seamless process for the customer. Jon and Martin have been extremely responsive to provide service and support when needed and have adapted the app to work perfectly for my websites. Thank you for making such a great app! I have tested 4 variant option apps, and this Relentless Variant Option app is by far the best for my store. This app allows me to offer customers the ability to customize products effortlessly before adding them to the shopping cart. The app integrates well with native Shopify options and allows the shop owner limitless customizations and virtual options. The interface is well thought out and adding products and options is seamless. The ultimate goal is to make shopping easier for prospective customers as a means to increase conversion rate. This app makes that a reality and I am thankful to be able to run it on my store. Additionally, service is crazy good. I mean it, best I have experienced from any Shopify app company large or small. Seriously good service!

Came to support with a problem that could have potentially set us back months. A new line of code needed to be added to get two apps to work together for a seamless/working checkout, and they were happy to assist. Martin reached out to understand the problem and made the required changes promptly. Update: These guys are great, reached out to them again for a problem I was experiencing on my site, ended up had\ving more to do more with my site than their app but again they were happy to assist even in matters unrelated to them. Actually sent out support requests to shopify and them at the same time, there team had responded and fixed the problem within 20 min while shopify responded later that day that they would look into it. A pleasure working with the team at relentless apps!

We have been using this ap for some time now to give our customers more options that the basic amount you can put on Shopify. This app is very simple to use and gives great options to let our customers really tell us what they want. As a business that specialises in Personalised Clothing this is definitely a greag app to have. I've also recently had to reach out for support from the developer's in order to make the personalisation options appear on my confirmation emails and this was resolved extremely quickly so the customer service wins five stars from me. What more can I say, if you need to give more options on your website like we did or the options for customers to input their personalisation without having to re-write all you codes (personally I don't have a clue) then this is definitely the app you need.

We have used this app to display a checkbox on our product pages and it has worked out very well so far. I was hesitant about the app at first because the support was listed as email only and most apps that have email as their only source of communication tend to take a long time (sometimes never at all) to respond. That is not the case with this app, I have had multiple issues arise over the last few weeks and every time I reach out to the support team via email, I am either responded to that day by noon or early in the morning the next day and the support team is very informative and always willing to help. I highly recommend this app to teams looking for the best variant app out there, know the shopify app store is in need of more for this category but this app is the best of the best on here for what it does.
