Orderly Emails ‑ Templates App

This app makes email notifications easy to create, edit, update, and adapt to your store as needed. I like that there are general settings that apply to all emails (footer text, logo, style, etc.) so if you make a change there, all email templates are automatically updated. At the same time you can make content changes as needed for each template. I would like to see option to copy/move text boxes and buttons in the t, perhaps that is coming in the future. Copying/pasting the finished template into Shopify notifications is easy, it takes just a few minutes really. I rarely write reviews for the apps that I use on my website. I make exceptions when the app goes above & beyond what I expected, and this certainly takes the biscuit!

I'm really happy that there is no subscription based model, when it easily could have been. The one off payment for emails is spectacular, and a breath of fresh air in a world of Subscriptions / "Pay Per X Customers".

The quality does not stop there, the email editor is extremely handy & easy to use, which made making emails a breeze.

Finally, installing the code is so easy, it's been made a piece of cake by the step by step instructions. I really thought installation would be the hardest part of overhauling my new emails but it wasn't at all!

It’s simple: If you have a Shopify store, you want this app. Really.

Shopify’s transactional emails are spartan. If you want to look pro, you need to spice them up a bit. There are several apps that do this, but none—and I’ve installed and tried them all—do it as simply and cleanly as OrderlyEmails. The proof is in the pudding: I spent many, many hours working up designs using those other popular Shopify apps, the ones that have gazillions of positive reviews. And yet the email design I got after 10 minutes of fiddling with OrderlyEmails was substantially better than all of them.

I really cannot overstate the bang for the buck that this app gives you. The fact that you'll be up and running in minutes is only icing on the cake for any busy store owner.

And the best part? You don’t have to buy anything until you’ve created the design. I wish all developers would take this approach.

Wow! This is my second purchase from this developer. You can not ask for more than an app with a one-time fee that is completely reasonable. I bought this app because I actually received a "standard" order notification from someone I bought from and was surprised at how it made me feel - like the shop wasn't very professional. That got me looking for something like this. The notifications that you can create with this app are really simple and elegant. The interface is super-easy to use to create these beautiful notifications. I probably set the whole thing up in about an hour, and that was only because I was taking my time writing content for each one. If I had a single criticism it's that you have to manually cut and paste in the new notifications into your settings. I couldn't be happier with this app. Bjorn has done a great job here. The design looks great, it's easy to edit, it's easy to implement, and the support has been fantastic. I'm really impressed :-)

With a little tweaking, I've also combined this with 'Order Printer Templates' (to make nice PDF templates) and 'Order Printer Emailer' (to create download links to the PDF templates) and added it to my email template.

Now, I have a really nice email notification that goes out to clients and includes a link to download a PDF which has also been branded and styled to look fantastic. Not content with just the clients getting the fancy looking emails, I also tweaked the template for the New Order Notification email (that we receive) to include a link to download the PDF for the styled Packing Slip that we created with his other apps.

The three apps work really well together and I'm one very happy little Vegemite :-)

I wasn't happy with the built-in Shopify notifications. Wanted something that I could create that is on-brand. I don't know much code. I bought this app and was able to make it work for me. It does take awhile to get it looking just right. There are limitations as well to what you can change and how much you can change. That can be a little frustrating for a perfectionist.

However, there is nothing really like this out there at this price. After some time, I was able to get my notifications looking great. Actually, so many people think I personally wrote to them, they actually respond back personally to me. So I'm really happy with the way they look.

I just bought another copy of the app for our second shop and they let you duplicate the version so it's a lot easier than starting from scratch. Ran into a few issues, and they helped me solve them quickly. If you don't know how to code, this is a really nice piece of software. Excellent value.

Templates are great, we really pushed the boundaries on what you can do with designing them and making them your own but Orderly makes it so easy to do just that.

The app is super simple, I've actually barely touched it since setup, only to adjust any minor things and updates if they ever pop up but when doing so, that's also a breeze.

Just reviewing now as we've transferred the app over to our US site and had a couple issues doing that initially, reached out to support and they were great, figured the issue in minutes and all sorted now. Not at all worth dropping a star but, in a situation like that where there's two stores running an identical theme, it might be nice to get a discount on the re-purchase of the theme. I totally understand and love to support an app this great however, it just seems a bit frivolous paying twice for the same product - a small discount there would likely work well with expansion!
