Seguno Email Marketing

This is one of the best apps I've downloaded from the Shopify App Store. It does exactly what I want it to and it's still a fully functioning app without "Get Premium to do xyz!" Every 2 seconds. There are some nice premium features, don't get me wrong; but for sending out great looking, professional newsletters, this is the perfect. You can schedule, customize it, save all your previous ones, everything. It integrates with your Shopify collections seamlessly, and it has more customization options than Shopify itself. Want to change the color of this specific part? No problem. Want it show more products, less rows, different images? No issue at all. Way better than I thought it would be.

Most apps I dread opening because they're a hassle to work with. This one is intuitive and I really don't mind working with it. I feel like it respects you as a creator who is trying to make a living, and it values your time. The developers nailed this one, my only worry is that they will make some negative changes.

If I ever sell more product, this is the first app I plan to upgrade, even though it seriously works great as a free version, I just like it that much.

Love using Seguno! So easy to reach our connections. Takes the hassle away from having to create beautifully laid-out emails as the app does that for you. Love how i can just select the products directly from Shopify and it adds all the links, images, price, product description etc which makes it so easy for customers to just click and buy. Our Instagram and Canva accounts also link directly with Seguno so all designs instantly available to use which saves so much time! The Seguno team are also so incredibly helpful. The CEO Chris has connected with me on numerous occasions to see how they can help us improve our campaigns/ROI, they spend time to really understand our business and even help getting us setup and maximising what Seguno has to offer (as there is so much it can do). Excited and grateful for having discovered Seguno and is the only App we use for email marketing, blogs and automations. It def helps allot with driving sales, building our brand, growing and retaining our customer base, educating consumers through marketing communications on new products/launches etc, as well as have plenty of automations which takes care of business which allows us to focus on other things! Give them a try!

As for now, this App is great and simple!

I had a very bad experience with Mailchimp as the were counting my subscriber's numbers from Shopify, even those that did unsubscribe. The 'ShopSync' app is not updating your list of subscribers/unsubscribers in Mailchimp but MC will charge you for the full amount. My list of emails collected was around 2000 so MC for me was free. Then I got one subscriber extra and I jumped into a higher bracket and this is the time where the problem started. MC was charging me 49.99 USD per month until I will reach 2500. I was like okay I can handle it. When I reached 2501 another 8.99 was added to my billing without even a notice on my email they just sent an invoice.

As this was for me a bit expensive I changed the app to Seguno, and the first shook that I got was that my list of real subscribers (who marked the marketing permission) was around 1000 not like Mailchimp calculated via ShopSync 2501. As I sent an email to Mailchimp about it I didn't receive any answer back. Seguno also not calculating to list bounce emails and spam emails so they kindly cleaned up my list.

I would suggest to everyone to check your numbers of real subscribers based on your customer list in your Shopify system as ShopSync in not updating your list in MC. As in my case, I shouldn't pay over 50 USD for 2501 subscribers where more than half of that weren't subscribers anyway.

As for now I highly recommend Seguno App together with Shopify Email for stores who just want to simply promote the store, products, blogs. They are enough and right now Seguno is keeping my subscribers list clean and updated and I'm paying 20 USD a month as I reached 1001 subs.

This is not how a typical 5-star review begins: we actually left Seguno Email and moved to another email platform for a period of time, enticed by some features Seguno Email didn't offer then.

But we're back to Seguno Email now, and it's literally saved our small business both time and money, not to mention hassle. Most of those features that prompted us to adopt another platform are now available to us in Seguno — there are a few that we still miss, but they are in development.

The real win of this product, and why we'd recommend Seguno Email to other small businesses, is the quality of service. These are real, live folks who are chatting back to you — not bots, not low-level human helpers who are trained only to point you to a technical manual — Seguno email staffs actual humans who care about your needs, problems, and the features that matter to you.

When we initially reached out to Seguno Email wondering about whether it was worth it to switch back, almost immediately we were invited to a call with an engineer as well as a product lead. These folks spent almost 45 minutes with us and at no time did it feel at all sales-y, they were showing us various features we wanted and how Seguno could meet those needs, answering our questions, asking thoughtful questions about our shop, usage, etc.

We left the call optimistic about what Seguno Email could offer us, and decided to switch back. Any time we have had a question or issue (not often, since it's so intuitive and user-friendly), we email, and can expect a response quickly from one of the two folks we had that initial call with. This is personalized, human-centered service at its best. Highly recommend.

Great app for making newsletters. So easy to use and love how it is integrated into the Shopify site.

I came for seamless integration with Shopify front to back. Stayed for the excellent customer service provided (quick support, continual app improvement and informative online marketing education)
