Thank you for the honest feedback. Smart Pricing is built to help you find and optimize your store's prices over time, keeping them current as customer demand shifts. Even when a price test or price tip doesn't lift sales right away, it still gives you a better understanding of your customers. The results at the end of a price test can signal whether a price is set too high or too low, so each price test can help you sharpen pricing decisions backed by real customer data.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. You're right that Smart Pricing is newer and leaner. We made it free because we wanted A/B price testing and AI price tips to be accessible without a big upfront spend. We started with a focused set of features rather than matching every paid tool on day one. We actively use merchant feedback to decide what to build next: recently we added product type, tag, and vendor filters to make price test setup easier based on merchant feedback like yours. Thanks for flagging this. Smart Pricing now includes Settings. You can set a minimum margin for products with cost, and a maximum discount for products without cost. That gives you a margin guardrail on price tips to better protect and reflect your real margin.
