Thanks for the honest feedback. That’s a real gap in the A/B price experiments results if you need deeper analytics to make a call. The results page is deliberately lean so it stays readable, and each metric has a tooltip with the definition behind it. If you can share which result or breakdown you were looking for through the in-app Give feedback box, we can use that to shape what we add next.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. The app analyzes merchants' sales, inventory, costs, and market trends to surface price tips. No price changes automatically. Merchants have to actively decide and make a decision. To save and apply a price tip, use the Update button on your markdown, markup, and new product tips.

We recently released Settings to let merchants set their minimum margin and maximum discount to factor into complex overhead like fees, shipping, etc. to better reflect their business and protect margin. We invite you to check it out to receive better tips.

Thanks for trying our app and fair feedback. Currently with our markdown tips, a price decrease change is shown with a compare-at price. We realize this isn't ideal for merchants looking to lower prices without the appearance of a sale / discount. We’ve logged your request to offer merchants the option to show a decrease as a simple change to the base price and will get back to you once we release.

Thank you for the candid feedback. You make a fair point - available inventory on its own isn't a reliable signal of how well a product sells, since high stock can mean a strong seller or a slow one. We're working on additional price tips grounded more in market price data rather than inventory alone. We'd genuinely like for you to check back in and share your thoughts. Our price tips improve in direct response to feedback.

Thanks for trying Smart Pricing. In markdowns and markups, cost per item is one of the signals behind each tip. You can check the tooltip on a tip to see the forecast, sell-through, inventory, seasonality, and cost data behind the logic.

We're working on adding margin targets into price tips. This will let you better account for overhead costs like shipping. We just launched price tips for new products, which tells merchants how similar items across Shopify are priced of the same category, market / currency, and price tier.

Thanks for your honesty. Smart Pricing offers price tips when we have confident and meaningful data signals to offer a suggestion. That can take some setup and recent sales data. Markdowns and markups need regular sales, tracked inventory, and cost per item in Shopify. New product price tips are available for products added and active in the last 30 days with sufficient similar products to compare it to.
