The tech support by James is fantastic, prompt and professional.
I connect my two Shopify stores and my Amazon listings and everything is syncing perfect! Once installed the app on your Shopify store, just make sure to add first your own main store as Sales Channels, where the initial correct inventory is located so that its inventory is the first uploaded on the TRUNK database as that will feed the initial data to the Sales Channels you will add later.
Other than that so far everything is great and I am SO GLAD that finally I will not oversell my limited inventory products, saving me a from lot of troubles especially with Amazon... :(

I run a small vintage shop on my own and since I sell the same items on multiple platforms I am always worried about not noticing a transaction and accidentally double selling. This site solves that problem for me completely. All I have to do is assign the same sku to each item and I can rest assured that if it sells on one platform it will immediately be made unavailable on the others. I personally link a Shopify site and an Etsy site and after a few hours of learning my way around the site I find it very easy and seamless! Thanks for making running a small business on your own a little less stressful! I only wish there was an app for it for apple since I do all of my work on an ipad and that would be more convenient for me.

In two short years, our business has quickly grown to a Top 100 global seller on Etsy with upwards of 1,000 products at any given time. I wish I had Trunk *before* my shop went viral! I've been on Etsy for over 5 years, and added Shopify just a month prior to my shop going viral. My biggest headache was tracking inventory across platforms and not over or under-selling. Trunk has been simply amazing! We use both Etsy and Shopify and were manually changing inventory numbers across both platforms, which wasn't always easy to accurate. As we have grown our business in the past year, this was becoming increasingly more difficult when were receiving 30+ orders a day. We had tried a while ago using some other paid programs for combining the two, but they were very cumbersome to work with. Trunk came along and I was hesitant because it seemed too good to be true. Spent about 3 hours getting our inventory matched with SKU numbers between the two sites then made trunk active... In about 5 minutes everything was linked up and ready to go! With a growing number of SKUs, keeping up with inventory across multiple platforms became a big and time consuming job...one that often fell through the cracks. Which meant I didn’t have accurate inventory displayed on my sales channels and worse there were product variants that would display sold out when I actually had inventory on hand. Trunk has been a life saver because I can manage my inventory through my Shopify dashboard and it updates my other sales channels without having to do any additional work! Plus it’s easier to keep items in stock on all of my platforms because I don’t need to worry about splitting up inventory to make sure I don’t oversell an item. I was originally looking for something to just sync up my Shopify and Etsy shops, but I’m so excited to also eventually link up my Faire account. The app is exactly what I was looking for and is so easy to use. I was up and running within an hour. My product is simple, but keeping track of my raw material could have been a real headache without Trunk's bundling capability and real-time inventory syncing. It's clean. It's easy. It works.
As far as customer service goes, you won't find better. From the beginning, James has been attentive, helpful, and proactive in helping me get a handle on tracking inventory for my new small business. No matter the hour or the day, my needs were resolved in a timely and professional manner. Executive Summary: PROS: Quick, performs all the functions we required, integrates seamlessly with shopify.
CONS: Without getting into specifics, navigating Kits that are active in trunk could have more visibility. Trunk performs better than expected. Our team needed a way to compile kits, and ensure that we weren't selling more stock than we had, or missing a sale even if we had all the components to build a kit. The mass upload capability enabled us to efficiently implement the system with over 300 variant kits. Inventory updates on child components takes about a minute, and the database updates instantly. Having more visibility on exactly what kits are input in trunk would be beneficial, and eliminate the need for a separate kit database, but seeing the child components of a parent kit is relatively easy. Overall, enabled us to painlessly implement an accurate stock tracking system.

At Hathorway, we've been growing our jewelry business quite quickly over the past years. Today, we are on multiple e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Etsy, and Faire; and inventory management has been one our greatest headaches that comes along with our growth. We make and sell safety razors on Shopify, with lots of options. Our customers can buy both full razors and parts. Literally hundreds of combinations per model. On the back end, we use Shopify Variants and manually correct the inventory levels regularly to make sure we weren't selling something we didn't have. And to make sure that we weren't turning away a customer that wanted something that was available. As our brand grew, big drops were getting pushed out more and more to make sure we had enough inventory to satisfy every potential combination. I added Trunk to automatically correct inventory levels in real-time and my first drop with Trunk went flawlessly. I had over a thousand individual pieces ready, which could be purchased as 20+ individual part SKUs or combined into 120 different razor SKUs. Trunk kept up without any problems and the inventory levels were spot-on when the drop was done. Trunk updates the inventory levels quickly, which is a must-have. The dev team is easy to work with and is very responsive. If you're looking to manage bundles and kits on Shopify, I highly recommend Trunk. I just wish I found it sooner.
