Lucky Orange Heatmaps & Replay

Great value is provided with having the ability to see the recordings of each visitor to my web pages which provides insight into what's working and not working and guide design changes for optimization. The same is true of the heat maps and being able to see what percentage of visitors make it from the top to the bottom of the pages. Without Lucky Orange I would have no idea of what is really going on.

Lucky Orange gives me valuable insights with little work. At a glance each day I can see how many people visited my site, what pages were more visited, and how many people added items to their cart. Love their daily emails that give me this quick rundown and help me find opportunities with my website.

Lucky Orange has been a game changer for our store. The visitor session recordings let us watch how customers actually browse, which makes it so much easier to spot friction points and improve conversions.

App allowed me to track customers path on my website and make changes that improved my conversion rates. Would be awesome if the app could include conclusions based on the data provided as well.

My Lucky Orange onboarding was excellent. In one session, I learned how to use filters, events, and funnels to see exactly where customers drop off and take action right away. The walkthrough was clear, tailored to our Shopify store, and we even set up custom events on the spot. The interface is intuitive, the insights are powerful, and I’m confident this will help boost conversions. Highly recommend.

Very easy integration to Shopify, 1-click integration and simple signup process. Lucky Orange has many features and functionality for understanding the customer journey, automatically find meaning data through all the massive amounts of customer recordings.

Great insight into your website traffic and customer browsing patterns.
The ability to deep dive the data is welcomed.

The data presented is however not 100% accurate... for example the daily breakdown / count of source traffic does not add up to "All Visits".

I have used the Lucky Orange app for a couple of years now and it has brought a ton of valuable information on our website to increase the volume of sales. The recordings and heatmaps have been my favorite to gain insightful information as to how clients have navigated around our website.

Amazing app! I started thinking about how to further optimise my Listings, but without valid data, it's like stepping in the blind.
After a quick search I discovered Lucky Orange as one of the leading applications for Heatmaps and data tracking.
Installation and setup was super easy and just after a couple of days I get fascinating insights into my customers journey, which elements in the listings they see and how many of them not even reach the strongest and most convincing parts of the listing.

I already did some minor improvements but looking forward to do a bigger change after validating some more data.

We used Lucky Orange for about a year, then discovered Microsoft Clarity, which is completely free and does everything we needed. Around that time, we thought we had downgraded our Lucky Orange plan. Their app showed a message saying “No active subscription,” so we assumed it was canceled.

Turns out that message was a bug, which their team later admitted. In reality, we had been getting billed $303.20 per month the entire time — for 16 months — totaling $4,851.20. We had no idea. There was no downgrade confirmation, no email notification, and no way to tell from inside the app that billing was still active.

We didn’t use the tool once during that period. We believed the subscription was canceled. Their support team reviewed our case and still refused to refund anything. They claimed it was our responsibility to know we were subscribed, even though their own UI said otherwise.

We’re now escalating through our Shopify Plus team to recover the funds.

This product is not worth the risk. If you need heatmaps and session replays, Microsoft Clarity is free, more transparent, and works better. We do not recommend Lucky Orange.
