Merchants say this app gives fascinating insight into how customers move through their store. Session recordings and heatmaps help reveal drop‑offs, dead clicks, and high‑engagement areas on key pages like product and checkout. It's free, (great!) but never use the app version. Critical functions like downloading heat maps, click maps, and scroll depth maps are broken - the Shopify app iframe blocks them.
Worse, there appears to be no way to migrate an app project to a full project on the MS Clarity website to use these functions. If you've installed the app, your only option is to create a new account on the MS Clarity site, manually set up a new project, and run two sets of tracking code (app and full Clarity) in parallel. Then, after 30 days, uninstall the app.
If you work for MS Clarity: stop recommending the app, or fix the download limitations. At the very least, warn users here and on the maps help pages. Searching, reading docs, clearing cache/cookies, disabling ad blockers, disabling extensions, trying incognito windows, trying other browsers, getting Claude to analyse JS errors - it's an avoidable waste of time, no?

o app ajuda muito, mas ainda tem muito a melhorar na questão de gravações de sessões... a maioria delas não filma direito, aparece muito bug de carregamento da gravação... acaba não mostrando de fato se é a sessão de usuário no site que está com problema ou o app que está com bugs. Isso não ocorre em outros apps que gravam sessões, então é algo recorrente com o Clarity

a bit clunky, UI not friendly
It doesn't connect to my product catalog which makes the brand agent rather useless.
Pretty fucking soldi actually, i can view dead clicks see heatmaps if new stores to identify loopholes before scaling, a solid solid analytical software
