SC Product Options

Customer Support is awesome. They kept me in the loop the entire time, even as they "escalated" my ticket for being complicated and technical, they stuck with it and got the job done, and I am a happy happy camper. Tamer and Garret where both quick with their email correspondence, I was never left in the dark. I am considering other apps Bold offers just because I know they are quality and are there if I need them. Without rambling with specifics, I am very satisfied with the service and product (app), and would recommend any Bold App to a friend. Thanks again for all your help, it is very much appreciated! Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Ryan and the team at Bold. All I can say is— THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! At a time when most companies treat customers like faceless tickets to be dealt with as quickly as possible or worse— ignored or disregarded entirely, the team at Bold went above and beyond my highest expectations to resolve a tricky problem that was ultimately caused by my shop's THEME and NOT by the Bold app I was using. I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the level of communication and support at Bold. Not only does their product work beautifully, they've also set a new bar in terms of customer support and satisfaction.

Disaster. I have been a Product Options customer for 10 years. I started noticing a few options not being charged to customers recently and reached out to support. They informed me I need to install Version 2. After horrific communication that takes days for each message, they deployed something that completely torpedoed my entire site and it doesn't even seem like we can undo it. It appears like "Shop Circle" purchased this app from BOLD but kept the name. I am currently losing thousands in revenue a day with an unknown impact on long-term sales and no real resolution in sight that doesn't likely involve 50+ hours of work on my end.

Good but not quite there. My goal is to create a product page with a tight set of menu options that can be expanded when chosen. Conditional logic works great for this but I would like more controls. For instance, the product description takes up a great deal of page space. I would like to see a description narrative that could be read and then collapsed. I have seen this on other sites where there is a "pull-down" widget that allows you to group text and options for selection when expanded and then collapse when done. Alina was wonderful. We have had some issues in the past and Alina was very patient with our process and was very helpful. Her customer service is outstanding and I am very grateful I got the chance to work with Alina. The Bold Products Options App has helped my business see an increase in sales this last year. I've been using this app for about two months, and I'm super impressed. The customer service is great (I needed a help because I had another, similar app installed and it conflicted with this app). I uninstalled the other app I'd tried because this one is far superior. I used it to create "product builders" for each of my charts products - making it easier for people to assemble the system they need instead of individually picking things out. In the future I'll need to something more simple, like extra customization on some of my magnets, and this will work perfectly for that as well. I use the upgraded version with the conditional logic, and it's fantastic. I love this app!

This app did take a couple of days to perfect (appearance wise) on my website. It wasn't something I could fix myself so I did have to wait on support to get me through some minor appearance issues. But the support team was quick to get back with me and they fixed my problems right away.

I do recommend this app, but just be prepared to possibly need some support with certain themes. Until now, I can finally offer my customers an "add a chain" option directly on each product page instead of having to create numerous variants by including different length chains in the prices in the main drop down menu. Much easier for my customers! And a great opportunity to upset to your customers!

Did not work correctly after they installed the coding on my site (yes paid them) that's money I will never get back. Is impossible to get any support people on the phone and not only did it not work properly but caused issues with my store putting my business in jeopardy and sales. Yes we ring about 5,000 a day through our store so it was a pretty serious issue. I finally fixed it myself after I republished an olde version before they added the code and fixed it right away. Would not recommend and very disappointing being I have several of Bold aps and spend allot of money monthly with them. So before anyone thinks that I'm just being a hater that is not the case at all... just frustrated.

This app has been a HUGE benefit to us! One of our differentiators is our massive customization offerings, and with Shopify's limitations on variants, we couldn't do what we do without BOLD. Yes the install takes a bit of work because you do need to get their team to help install sometimes, but it's worth it and you get to connect to someone to ensure it's done correctly. The only thing I wish is that Bold didn't make you pay so much for each app. Buying one of their products should give you a big discount on their others but it doesn't. Alina helped me make sure that the installation process was smooth and made me feel confident that If any problems arose the Bold team would be there to help.

If you are looking to add options to products and Shopify's native variant functionality isn't enough for your needs, look no further. This app is perfect for giving customers the ability to add options and/or customize products.

And Bold's tech support is exceptionally good! I had technical problem and Lawrence traced the issue to my theme. I've gotten used to developers throwing up their hands when another developer's code causes an issue. But Lawrence didn't. He took it upon himself to correspond directly with the theme developer and fix the issue. The world would be a better place with more tech support people with Lawrence's character. Thank you Lawrence!

This app is an easy one to recommend.
