Merchants say this connector saves significant time on bookkeeping and reconciliation once properly set up. Syncing Shopify orders, payouts, and deposits into QuickBooks reduces manual entry and duplicate work, especially when importing sales as receipts to Undeposited Funds and matching bank payouts. Many highlight reliable long‑term performance and praise support as patient and knowledgeable, often spending hours helping with setup, troubleshooting sync issues, and re‑syncing historical data.

Intuit sunset the Onesaas connector in favor of a new one, which is a major degradation of service. The new connector is extremely limiting and customer service is way worse than it used to be ever since they started firing employees in favor of investing in crapy AI services. Now I have to manually import transactions. I would give this negative stars if possible.
I had a fantastic experience with the QuickBooks Online Global app, thanks to Jenny from the support team! I was struggling to sync my Shopify store with QuickBooks, but Jenny guided me through every step of the process. She was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond to my questions. Her clear instructions and helpful attitude made what seemed complicated so much easier.
Now my Shopify and QuickBooks accounts are perfectly connected, saving me time and effort with bookkeeping. I highly recommend this app — and if you ever need help, ask for Jenny! She truly goes above and beyond. Thank you so much!
this new version is garbage. what once worked effortlessly now doesn't work even with the greatest effort. In the prior version b2b orders would import into QBO without any trouble unless the item SKU in Shopify was not in QBO - this could easily be corrected and the invoice would be generated. it would understand the taxes that were charged as well as the shipping charges from Shopify.
In the new version all of this functionality is gone. when i first installed it, it pulled in a few b2b orders and a bunch of other data i did not want. the b2b orders didnt know what tax was charged so that would mean i would have to scrutinize every invoice to select the tax for each item ordered instead of reading what was already charged in Shopify. it also didnt know what to make of the shipping charges and tried to add it as a product in the invoices.
Now it just imports everything I do not want and the only thing i want which is the b2b invoices it does not import.
i spent hours online with tech the day i installed it to resolve the problem, and nothing was accomplished so eventually I had to put it on hold for the following day. that was in august. it is now September 10 and i have emailed tech almost daily about it and they seem to have me on ignore. total radio silence. what is this BS? i can't invoice customers.
HEY INTUIT...ANSWER ME AND FIX THIS !
1 Star – Massive Step Backwards from OneSaaS
I’ve been using the QuickBooks Shopify integration since 2020 (previously via OneSaaS), and up until recently it worked reliably and did exactly what it needed to do.
Unfortunately, since QuickBooks deprecated the OneSaaS connector and replaced it with their new native Shopify app, the system has become completely unfit for purpose.
The new connector is a significant downgrade:
Products are not mapping correctly
VAT rates are inconsistent or incorrectly applied
Payment methods aren’t assigned properly
Customer data is no longer linked (everything is posted under a generic “Shopify customer”)
Hundreds of transactions are left sitting in the integration queue requiring manual review
This completely defeats the purpose of automation and has created a huge amount of unnecessary admin, not to mention confusion for both our bookkeeper and accountants.
The most frustrating part is that the previous OneSaaS system worked perfectly well. There was no need to replace it with something far less capable.
As a result, we’ve now been forced to move to a £50/month third-party integration just to restore functionality that previously worked flawlessly for free. That’s incredibly disappointing.
There are clearly widespread issues with this new connector, with many other users reporting the same problems online.
Please bring back the OneSaaS integration, or significantly improve the current app — because in its current state, it’s simply not fit for purpose.
The verdict is still out but I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and using this app to connect my Shopify to Quickbooks. Sherwyn was very patient and knowledgeable. It felt like he was holding my hand. I needed my integration start date to Feb 2024 and he made it so that I would be able to. Let's see what happens.
UPDATE: I finally pulled the trigger and I wish I would have done it sooner. JENNY was the best in helping me map my configurations. Answered all my questions and was there again day after day to help me maneuver through the data. Definitely ask for JENNY shes the BEST!
I've been using this app since a client moved their online store to Shopify a couple of years ago. I've found the intergration works very well and the customer support is extremely helpful when there are issues. I have to give a special mention to Jas who helped me sort out a syncing issue today quickly and with minimal fuss. I'd highly recommend the app.
The tax features of this app are not as good as they could be. It seems like a lot of people need 3rd party software to sort this out. It seems like QuickBooks could fix this rather easily. BUT they do have live customer support. BEN explained to me how the tax worked. I spent hours searching online, and he answered all of my questions in 5 minutes. So THAT is a big plus.
I had long-term issues with sync issues because of items we had deleted or made inactive and then reactivated. Rhica in customer support actually reached out to me while I was reviewing some sync issues. They noted they had identified the problem and would be happy to resolve it, if it was okay with me. A few minutes later, it was all cleared up, and I look forward to clean syncs going forward.
Francis was able to help me get all my products, over 8400 products loaded from my Shopify account into my products pages for my quickbooks online. Francis was patient with me, was professional, and was able to facilitate the process perfectly. I am grateful for the help, I'm sure it saved me several hours of work. I highly recommend Quickbooks Online Global.
Excellent app and excellent customer service.
I was looking at my settings and wondering about something and Sherwin actively reached out to me to ask if I needed help (which I did) and he helped me map out all our payment accounts to the correct quickbooks accounts and sorted out a bunch of other minor issues that I had. I definitely love this app and thoroughly recommend!
