I started using TikTok Shop immediately when it launched in the Netherlands and have been trying to make it work ever since.
One of my biggest frustrations is the amount of manual work required to get products properly listed. TikTok asks for all kinds of additional product metadata, even when that information is already available in other product fields. There is often no easy way to map or reuse existing data, so you end up entering the same information manually for product after product. For a seller with a larger catalogue, this quickly becomes extremely time-consuming.
Then there is the email communication. Every single day I receive numerous emails from TikTok, often in the most exotic languages imaginable and with little or no relevance to me.
Between the excessive manual work, the lack of real support, unresolved category issues and chaotic communication, TikTok Shop still feels like an unfinished product rather than a mature platform for professional sellers.
NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. This app was less than 2 stars in early 2026, do not fall for the fake 5 star reviews.

Good app to sync your Shopify store products with TikTok Shop but only allows for a limited number of products to be synced to start with.

It was really quick and easy to set up ShopifyXTikTok Video. I can't wait to get started. I already feel much more confident, knowing I can get videos up in no time, and get to work on other things.
Emailed a rejection notice without a real explanation as to why I received a reject.
Shortly afterward received message to sign into business account, but unable to change password nor other needed updates,
Totally frustrated so I quit the app.
I had a few problems setting up my account information to be verified. The TikToc team were clear about my needed corrections.

Smooth and easy to set up... for me with ADHD & Autism. I can get overwhelmed and lost at times but you guided me through each step.
