Giftship: Gift Options & More

We've used this product for a couple years for the multi-address ship option and it's been great! We then started using the order printer, simple transition. Recently, we added the Box Builder and it's also working very well. Support has been amazing as we fumbled our way through adding these things ourselves.

Good app with a lot of options. The developers are very engaged and often add new features. Customer support is prompt and helpful. Has been a great addition to our website and boost to our business.

One of the best apps for companies that specialize in gifting. There are so many features that we have implemented and the app is reasonably priced. I love having all of the features in app, rather than having to download multiple apps to do a single function. Their team has been extremely helpful and continues to help walk us through the implementation process.

If you just need an app that will allow you to send shipments to another address this app will work for you. However, if you care about the analytics of your website DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. Not only will this app inflate your order numbers (each GiftShip order counts as 2 orders) but it will also miscalculate your financial analytics. This does not mean you won't get paid what you are owed, it means that you will not be able to distinguish what you actually MADE through GiftShip. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out financial analytics including hours on support calls with BOTH Shopify and Gist and it was determined that the API between Gist and Shopify is faulty and Gist was unable to figure out how to send appropriate data to Shopify for store owners to get accurate meaningful analytics.

Gift ship has been great for us because it allows our customers to place multiple gift orders in on transaction. It does create some duplication in your reporting. Customer service has been great.

Happy with the app and support provided so far. We wanted to customize the datepicker text formatting and Tim from their support team edited the theme code for us and was a big help. The ship to multiple address and datepicker are important additions to our site during the holidays.
