Giftship: Gift Options & More

We think this is a great App. More importantly , our customers actively use the features it provides. Even better, the customer service is really great. They respond to my queries quickly and effectively. Not just by answering questions but by helping to solve my problems for me.
There's a personal service here that you don't see very often these days. Well done Giftship.

I really want to like this app as it offers what I need for my business. However, the lack of urgency in support has got me to rate this only 3 stars. I had to turn off ads and I'm losing revenue until they work out bugs in their system. They know how critical it is to me and yet I do not feel they take it a priority. Most really good app offer a support chat where things can get done quickly. With this app, they do not offer this. Your at the mercy of a different timezone and days to resolve critical issues. I am interested in wholesale app they offer but if it's the same level of sub par support, I'll most likely pass all together and fin another app that gives better support. Also, this app archives multiple address orders meaning its counting revenue twice when it should not, which gives false analytics for my business. The solution they offered was to disable auto archiving orders. But when I do this, the main order is a hot mess with a bunch of code to decider just to find gift message. Also, Customer facing with this solution is not ideal either as again, the coding takes over the order page. It's close to being a phenomenal app, but the lack of support and bugs in their prevents them from being Great.

I've been super pleased with this app. I appreciate all of the features jam packed into this single app - I feel that I am getting a value for my money. My favorite feature is the build-a-box, which, simply put, makes buying more product easier for my customers. When I have had to reach out to support, response time has been prompt and issues resolved quickly and easily. It's a fantastic, do-it-all gifting app.

Great features and options! Very responsive and helpful support! The app *might* not do *everything* you want in *exactly* the way you want, but their support gives you a clear picture of what you *can* do, and having clarity on that is in itself very helpful.

Whenever I have had an issue/question, the response time for Giftship App team has been great with complete resolution of my problem during the same encounter. Recently, I communicated with Jayson, who was prompt, precise in dealing with the questions at hand and also provided a screenshot of what steps I needed to take to update my GiftShip app. Thanks so much, Jayson,

We have been using Giftship for many years now and are continuously pleased with the apps capabilities and the level of support we receive. Whenever we have a question or hit a roadblock (although rare, it does happen!) the support team is helpful, kind and approaches every request, no matter the size, with an exceptional sense of urgency which is always SO beyond appreciated. 10/10 recommend Giftship!!

We’ve been using Gist for years, and it just keeps getting better. Their app offers so many great options!! it just keeps getting better.

That said, what truly sets them apart is their service. Jayson jumped on a call with us and walked us through new features, even setting everything up while we were live with him. That level of hands-on support is rare and so appreciated.

Once we switched from discount codes to automatic discounts, the app works perfectly. Our business relies heavily on gift orders with most being shipped to multiple addresses. Giftship makes it easy for our customers to place orders online saving us time. Occasionally, we hear from customers who find the app a bit confusing, but the vast majority have no problems. We’ve used Giftship for many years now and consider it an asset.

We absolutely love Giftship! It is super easy to use and the customer support is the best of any app on my store. I appreciate how customizable and versatile the app is. No need for 5 different apps to do the job that this one will do. We highly recommend to anyone considering adding it to theirs. Fantastic app and amazing support! This app is very 'all singing, all dancing' with a huge number of features - more of which have been added since we first started using the app many years ago. We use features including upsells, gift messaging, a delivery date picker, mandatory checkbox, additional info box and a drawer cart with 'spend £XX for free delivery'. There's a lot more that we plan to start using in the future too. What makes this app the best on Shopify store (in my opinion) is the support. The Gist team are honestly brilliant - always quick to respond and happy to help with any styling issues etc (meaning you don't need to have code and CSS knowledge in-house!). I would highly recommend this app to improve your website customer journey.
