Shopify ist grundsätzlich eine gute E-Commerce-Plattform und bietet viele Funktionen, um einen Onlineshop professionell zu betreiben. Die Einrichtung und Verwaltung sind insgesamt übersichtlich, und die Plattform bietet zahlreiche Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten.
Allerdings ist das Bearbeiten von Verkaufsseiten in letzter Zeit spürbar langsamer geworden, was die tägliche Arbeit erschwert und unnötig Zeit kostet. Auch die Aktualisierung und Verwaltung des Download-Bereichs ist recht umständlich gelöst und könnte deutlich benutzerfreundlicher gestaltet werden.
Trotz dieser Schwächen ist Shopify insgesamt eine solide Lösung für den Onlinehandel. Mit Verbesserungen bei der Performance und einer einfacheren Verwaltung digitaler Produkte wäre eine höhere Bewertung durchaus gerechtfertigt.
