SmartrMail Email & SMS

I've had a good experience with SmartrMail. It's cheaper than MailChimp, and much easier to send emails. I love that it automatically imports images and product descriptions. That saves me so much time! I wish it were possible to include reviews from Judge.Me, but maybe they will do that in a future update. Every time I have asked for help with something, someone responds within half a day. I'd definitely recommend them.

I just downloaded this app and it is very quick and easy to use. You can see how many emails have been sent, opened, and clicked on! Results are shown within a few seconds. Hopefully this will help boost sales for my store. I really wish there were more options to customize the email. The mix of top sellers and customer sales history is great but I rather choose a certain category in my store such as new arrivals to share. I definitely recommend trying this app. The Concierge Support is also very friendly and responsive!

WOW, If you looking for an app that makes you money, This is it,

Emails sent out immediately, I watch my website traffic live and sure enough the traffic started coming in and so did the sales, 15% of customers that open email click through to the web site and about 15% of those placed orders.

So I am very happy with this.
I gave it 4 stars (updated to 5 stars) because the reporting for sales amount and qty was way high like 10 times higher then actual sales, (Update.: Developer quickly responded and fix the problem, Excellent support.)

We LOVE SmartrMail for so many reasons! First, it is so easy to use and intuitive. Having used the majority of the leading mail programs out there, I can say this is not always the case. Secondly, the customer service just blows me away - they are so responsive and SO helpful. Part of me does not want to say that because I worry as they get bigger and grow they may get too busy to keep providing such awesome support....but i give credit where credit is due. This is also in sharp contrast to many other mail providers out there. Third, it's easy for designers and developers to work with, even if they've never worked with SmartrMail before. We love love LOVE SmartrMail!!! Feel free to contact me with specific questions if you have them. Happy to answer them!

I tried this App after using Monkey themed email package and another Shopify linked Email application, the open rates on the second of the two was very poor.

Smartrmail has similar open rates to the Monkey themed email supplier suggesting their servers are more trusted by the big email companies. For the price this is very good value email service we have a mid-sized list and this product saves us over $150 a month compared with the Monkey themed email package.

The auto email options are good but not as robust as the more expensive service. I'd also like the option to add other fields to customer data, as the segmentation is good.

The support is very quick and helpful. I look forward to seeing Smartrmail develop. Overall a good reasonably priced email package.

I have used a number of services including mailchimp, klavio and springbot. It may well be proven that the other options provide more reporting analysis and features but here is my view.

I am a small business (however when I say small - £1 million turnover and 5000 subs). For years I have struggled to find a product that enables me to send emails quickly, efficiently, easily. THIS product does it.

There is a really nice weekly auto email that goes out keeping your customers coming back which is a nice feature.

Segmenting and auto flows are available so all manner of follow up emails can be created - its down to your imagination to make it work.

Equally as importantly the customer service is superb. I have regularly used the chat and received prompt support - they even reproduced an email for me which I had created in the wrong section and was concerned I would have the time to duplicate it in the right section.

A very very friendly support system and a product that sits JUST RIGHT in terms of ease of use and feature set. Why have tons of features that you just cannot fathom or make time for as a busy business owner with limited time.

Finally.... cost.... OMG.... Nearly forgot! This costs PENNIES in comparison to Klaviyo and Springbot. Flat fee per month covers any normal level of use which is a fraction of the price of competing services.

Hope this proves helpful for other small businesses making a very difficult choice on how to develop the email marketing.

Log in for Shopify not working. I can not access my account. Frustrating.

Great app, easy to use, and helps to save a lot of time when communicating when prospects and new customers. Highly recommended

Changed over from Mailchimp (used this app for approx 6 years).It is a lot quicker and easier to use! Although a bit more expensive but we can justify this with saving time.

We also have the option to do a one to one mentoring so that we can learn as much as we can and get the most our of our database.(Mailchimp never gave us this opportunity so we had to teach ourselves).

The only thing we would ask is that Smartrmail bring in the option to put emojis in the subject line like Mailchimp as it helps create a EYE CATCHING email which is SOOOOOOO important when sending an Email out!

So overall.....so far so good!

I've used this software for 3+ years (not sure why it says I've used it for 7 days, that's not accurate at all):

Before this I used mailchimp for a few years, Privy, and then the shopify email service and they simply didn't do the things I wanted.

First let me say that I HATE writing emails. So I search for a software that makes it easy for me and makes my emails look professional.

Smartrmail has amazing features and is very easy to use and writing an email is very fast. I have created my own main template so all I have to do is write something and hit send.

One of my favorite features is smart segments where you can create a list that automatically updates when someone buys a certain product or opens a certain email. this allows me to target my emails by interest instead of spamming everyone. So if i'm promoting product A i can exclude anyone who already bought it.

My favorite thing about Smartrmail is their support. I've submitted many questions and suggestions over the years and they always respond as well as are always implementing new features. Their support team really wants their customers to be happy and I am mindblown because they reached out to me after reading my review and my struggle with no sales because i was in the middle of a pivot and changing my whole business. I booked a free call and they helped me figure out a new email strategy for my shop. They also showed me features I didn't even know they had!!

Do not hesitate and try this app!!!

Here is why I chose Smartrmail:
Shopify does not have advanced segmenting or A/B testing. but it's free.
Mailchimp does not sync with my orders / customers and is expensive (twice the cost of this app)
Privy doesn't have A/B testing for subject lines and does not automatically sync with your customers, tags or orders. They told me I had to manually import many csv files with EACH TAG. And that I had to use their embedded forms in order for new tags to import.

Smartrmail does it all, I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found it.
Their advanced segmenting is MINDBLOWING. you can email people based on WHICH PRODUCT THEY BOUGHT or DIDN'T BUY!!! They have subject line A/B testing to increase open rates. It syncs automatically with your existing email list, customers and orders, no need to import anything.
-It's half the cost of Mailchimp. Even though it's not free like Shopify, I really want the extra features! I already setup a nice welcome email every time someone subscribes to my list.
-their abandoned cart email is beautiful and includes a nice discount code (unlike Shopify's bland email which you cannot customize)
-I can see how much $ i generated after sending an email
-I love the boost feature for newsletters, which resends the email to the recipients who did not open your last email. this is a lot easier than in other apps!
I've always hated and dreaded writing emails but this is the first time i can honestly say, i look forward to writing emails to my subscribers!
-customer support has been amazing as well as one of my emails had a bug and didn't send out, they fixed it right away.
-Although the A/B testing option is only on the higher-end plan which I do not have, I may upgrade to that option in the near future.

Overall it's just a really SIMPLE and very advanced email marketing app and after 4 years I am finally happy to say goodbye to Mailchimp!
